At El Paso Animal Urgent Care, your pet’s safety is our top priority! Many everyday items in and around your home can be dangerous—even life-threatening—to your furry family members.
⚠️ Common pet poisons include:
• Household repair items
• Garden products and certain plants
• Human medications and supplements
• Human foods (especially chocolate!)
• Insecticides and rodenticides
Even small amounts can cause serious harm. If you think your pet has been exposed to something toxic, don’t wait—seek veterinary care immediately and call ASPCA Pet Poison Hotline at (888) 426-4435

Please Welcome Dr. Ceniceros!🎉

👨‍⚕️Dr. Jacob Ceniceros grew up in the north valley of Las Cruces, NM. He attended New Mexico State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013.

🥼He attended Washington State University for veterinary school and graduated in 2017 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

🩺Dr. Ceniceros returned home where he has practiced for the last 8 years serving the Las Cruces community and now the El paso community.

Dr. Ceniceros has 2 dogs that keep him on his toes: Vixie the bloodhound and Eve the rescue. 🐾🐕

⚕️He is trained in echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound. Dr. Ceniceros enjoys performing surgery and attempting to solve puzzling internal medicine cases.

⛰️On his free time, he enjoys going for hikes, traveling to visit friends, road trips through different national parks, and much needed R&R.

❤️Meet our new foster baby - Jellyfish ❤️
Jellyfish was found wandering a construction site all alone with no food or family. She is now staying at our clinic until we find her forever home!
- She is about 12 weeks old, incredibly sweet, and so well-behaved. She’s currently being fostered by our team and soaking up all the love she deserves.

She’ll be fully vaccinated and spayed before going to her forever home.
