Meet Nova! ⭐️

Nova is a fluffy frenchie entered into our two week board and train with Trainer Oliver! She is still very young and is focusing on a lot of exposure and manners, but she is making tons of progress and loves to learn! 👩‍🎓 📜

Meet Maverick!

Maverick is a gorgeous German shepherd entered into our two week board and train program.

Before, Maverick couldn’t walk past other dogs or near them without reacting, but now that’s behind him.

Maverick is working on his off leash heel here near Apollo the poodle in a public park! Maverick is coming such a long way and doing amazing things. We are so proud of this boy!

Certified good dogs!

Today trainer Oliver took his service dog and service dog in training to the zoo; and they absolutely crushed their shift. From calmly navigating crowds, to ignoring fascinating smells, to holding rock-solid focus around literal giraffes… this is what real-life service dog work looks like.

Service dogs don’t just learn obedience — they learn how to exist confidently in busy, unpredictable, high-distraction environments so they can support their handler anywhere life goes.

Huge shoutout to his handler for putting in the countless hours it takes to reach this level. This is the power of intentional training, proofed skills, and real-world exposure.

Whether your pup is dressing up as a spooky skeleton, a superhero, or just rocking their natural cuteness — remember, safety and calm behavior come first! 👻
Here are a few quick training-friendly tips for tonight:
🦴 Practice “place” before the doorbell rings — it helps your dog stay calm while trick-or-treaters visit.
🍬 Keep the candy far out of reach (chocolate and xylitol are big no-nos for dogs).
💡 Make sure costumes are comfy, not restrictive, and free of choking hazards.
If your pup handles Halloween like a pro — give them a treat (dog-safe, of course)! If not, that’s okay — training is all about progress, not perfection. 💪🐶
