Yuzu says she wanted everyone to know that she went on her first transport with mom! My transports used to be 12-14 hour days so I never brought a co-pilot. Today we got to transport 2 kitties to a rescue. A quick 3.5 hour round trip drive for us. Someone enjoyed it!

We rescued Lillian and Ollie from a high kill shelter in New Mexico early this year. They have been with Cairn Rescue USA and an amazing foster in Phoenix since then. For some reason there hasn't been any adoption interest in them! These two are perfect but because there hasn't been adoption interest they are now heading to Iowa to hang out in a new foster home and hopefully find an adopted in the Midwest.

Update on Rusty! Rusty spent some time with Weimaraner Rescue of Texas before heading up to Mile High Weimaraner Rescue. He has since been adopted! Happy Tails to our first Pal.

Happy National Dog Day to the 76 dogs we have fostered and/or transported. Also happy day to our 3 dogs at home and to Pretzel, who crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year.

Moomin was such a great co-pilot! He was in his crate for the drive but hung out front with me while we waited for the rescue to pick him up. Another dog saved! Huge thanks to everyone involved. So many people came together to save him.

THANK YOU to all of you who input volunteer forms for these boys. We might now get it covered. Of course it is always nice to have "back up" fosters so if you'd like to get on our foster list submit the volunteer questionnaire.

We have three intact males that we could take in but we need fosters. We need people who LOVE and are familiar with the breed with strong leadership qualities. Someone willing to help get a dog Vetted and to/from neuter appointments and facilitate a meet and greet. Average Foster period is less than 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS to help save a life.
