8 female artists are working teaming up with 8 staff members from the El Paso Zoo to create artwork that will benefit our local PBS affiliate. Stay tuned for more details, this is only a part of the incredible team we've assembled.

Meet Danosa, one of the most remarkable animals to have lived at the asozoo . According to records Danosa was THE OLDEST Geoffrey's Marmoset in North America.

Zookeepers celebrated her 20th birthday in December of 2024 by throwing her a huge birthday party full of enrichment and her favorite snacks. Showing that clearly, there's no shortage of love for Danosa from her Zookeepers.

In the animal care profession you hear about animals that require you to earn their trust to get close to them. That was Danosa. Danosa, earning your trust was worth the time and patience. Your keepers will always love you very much.
