Get off the grid for a bit!
We are running trails this Saturday and Sunday by appointment. We have space available at 0900, 1300 and 1500. That's 9, 1 and 3 for those of you that don't speak military time We can take up to 3 riders at each time point.
Price is $65 per rider for a 1 hour ride and half hour meet and greet. If you want to go out to the more scenic area, it's the 2 hour rate at $120 per rider. Payment is due at time of booking.

As we mentioned in our last post, we are doing a fundraiser for those who might like to help with one last hurrah.

I'll still do the chance games here and there to help bring in income, and give folks a chance to win cheap rides, but this one is to help see two of our residents to thier new home.

This event will run similar to the last raffle, except one of our horses will pick the number. We will place one of our lovely friends into a pen. Into that pen, we will put the numbers 1-50 in a grid in the pen. We will feed them well, and wait. Wherever the horse apples land, first will be our winner. Or closest to a number if it's not on. If it's a toss up, well I'll be generous and give it to 2 winners. We have 7 days to fill spots.

We will track numbers below in the 1st comment.

Payment for the spots can be made through venmo, cashapp, paypal or zelle. Price is $20 per spot and I am offering buy 3 get one free. PM me to reserve your spot.

This will also run on instagram but will be 2 seperate drawings.

Hello Everyone!

You may have noticed some changes to our page recently. Please read this to the end—this is not an ending, but a new beginning.

Shifting Our Focus:
Due to the rising costs of feed and transport, and the tough economy affecting us all, we are shifting our focus away from active rescue for the foreseeable future.

No Vacancy:
We cannot accept any new dogs, cats, horses, or pigs at this time.

Limited Rehabilitation:
We are limiting ourselves to rehabilitating one or two horses a year. We currently have one horse with us and will not take another until she cycles out.

Current Animals:
Most of our current animals will live out their lives here with us. However, we have arranged wonderful green pasture homes outside of El Paso for a few of our horses.

Our Final Rescue Fundraiser:
We are planning to drive these horses to their new homes next weekend. We are hosting one last fundraiser to help cover the fuel costs to get them there. We would be incredibly grateful for your support for this "one last hurrah."

What We Are Doing Moving Forward:
We are definitely not disappearing!

We will continue to offer:
Trail Rides & Camping: Available to the public at cost. See our published rates.

Low cost chances to ride:
Our raffles were pretty popular. We'll keep doing those so that it helps bring in residual help for the animals that are staying.

Educational Outreach: We will transition to online educational posts and limit in-person volunteering and visits.

Prior Commitments: We will honor all current gift certificates, raffles, and commitments.

Vet Tech Training: We will continue hosting local vet tech students for their hands-on training for as long as they wish to do so.

Mobile Petting Zoos: We are resuming small petting zoos at local events as reliable transportation allows.

We tried our best to make a pure rescue model work since 2020, and we are so thankful for every single donation and bit of support you have given us. But all seasons change.

We hope you will stay with us as we start this new chapter! Who is ready to follow along?
