Happy 5th Birthday to our Queen B(ee) 🤭🐝 Soot Sprite! 🥳 April 11th is one of the most important days on our calendar because it’s our CEO Soot Sprite’s birthday 🎂 🐈‍⬛ Cool cats and kittens, this is a very important one because it’s the beginning of the end of her reign here at the cafe 👑 ❗️NO ONE PANIC ❗️ She is not sick or anything of the sort, but she has lived here pretty much all her life and while we love having her, we want her to have more room to explore, jump, and play 🧶 🚨 She will NOT be available to the public 🚨 We know, we know, it’s heartbreaking but we feel that for our resident cats, it’s best that they retire to a home with someone they’ve known all their life in order for it to be a smooth transition for all. She will be living with one of the cafe owners and their family (who is waiting with anticipation for this year to fly by!) We just wanted to give our followers the heads up that APRIL 11, 2027 (TWENTY TWENTY-SEVEN/ONE YEAR/365 DAYS) will be her last day at the cafe so come get your fill of her affection. We will be auditioning potential CEO’s from now until then (they will be listed as “in training” on their pictures in the room) so come meet them as well and let us know if they’re worthy of the Iron Throne!

Tomorrow (Saturday April 11, 2026) all REGULAR priced merchandise will be 20% off and 15% of proceeds from drinks and snacks will be donated to the Animal Rescue League of El Paso in honor of our sweet and sassy girl Soot Sprite! 🐈‍⬛👸

Come beat the heat and visit us! Support our kitties and their care by spending cat time with them, getting a delicious coffee or decking our that water bottle you carry everywhere with cat stickers 🐈‍⬛.

Soot Sprite is turning 3! We invite you to celebrate her birthday on Thursday April 11th. We will be offering BOGO walk in cat time ALL DAY so everyone can come pay homage to the queen. Additionally, kids can come decorate a cat themed party hat free all day and at 6PM Sprite herself will come out to hold court and have her cat cake. We humbly request your presence at this celebration of our one true ruler.

El Pasos first aquarium is opening, the has it's Valentine's market, and the whole weekend is going to be jam packed with cool new local things to check out and support.
