Been super busy in the shop lately and will remain that way thru summer. Lots of paddlefish, dead head deer and many other critters headed out! Enjoy some finished pictures of work heading home! Also customers are loving the Memory Mount that they can add to their mounts to put pictures and videos on!

Incredible how old these fish can be! Documented 20 year old fish and was the same weight when it was banded 20 years ago. Great example of how old these fish are and the care we need to be taking in handling these fish!

This fish was tagged in 2006 in Lake Hudson and weighed 47lbs. He was around the same weight when he was caught yesterday so there is really no telling how old these fish could actually be. He was caught 50 miles downstream from where he was tagged in 2006.

What a incredible paddlefish season it has been! We want to say thank you to everyone and their support. With Missouri snagging season closed we want to let everyone know that our drop off locations will be picked up on May 6th in Missouri. Our Oklahoma ones will remain year around.

Wanted to share one of our favorite ways to eat paddlefish. We cut all the red meat off and cut into 1/2” steaks then season with Montreal steak seasoning and throw on a grill till it gets some color. After getting color we brush on this Kung Pao sauce or your favorite wing sauce and let it glaze on there to get sticky! Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed!

Finishing a few paddlefish on this fine afternoon. Cleaning the skulls of these fish and seeing the amount of damage they go thru and heal from makes a guy have a greater respect for these modern day dinosaurs. We are deeply disturbed by the recent post circulating of multiple fish that have been intentionally harmed. This type of cruelty is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of our community. We are currently raising funds to support efforts that may lead to identifying and holding the individual(s) responsible accountable.
At the same time, we want to be very clear: we strongly believe in the ethical treatment and well-being of all animals. Acts of abuse—toward any living creature—will never be tolerated or supported by us.
We appreciate everyone who is helping bring awareness to this situation and standing with us in promoting respect and responsibility toward wildlife.
