Today we are at PetSmart (by Costco) for our weekly offsite Saturday adoption event! We have so many super friendly and adorable doggies and kitties with us today! 🐾😍 Don’t forget, all adoption fees are only $50! 🐾🙌🏼

Pet vaccinations, microchipping, and name tags! 🐾🦮🐈‍⬛

We offer low-cost vaccines, low-cost microchipping for $25 (comes with a lifetime registration), and we make custom engraved name tags for $10 (includes a free collar). 🐾🎉

The 4th of July is quickly approaching and each year thousands of local pets go missing due to fear of fireworks. Microchips and name tags are GREAT at helping reunite lost pets with their families! We also sell pet CBD Oil for $30 per bottle to help calm nervous pets during fireworks. 🐾👍🏼

• Our office will be open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm today, Saturday, June 13th, but we stop doing vaccines at 2:45 pm.
• NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED. Services are done on a WALK-IN BASIS ONLY.
• Shelter business hours, shelter address, and shelter contact info are all on the flyer.
• We accept, cash check, and credit/debit as payment.

Our team would like to give a big and heartfelt THANK YOU to Corazo Credit Union for presenting us with a $2,500 donation for our New Shelter Project! 🐾😍

May was National Pet Month, and local Corazo Credit Union branches all throughout the Imperial Valley collected donations for our project all month long! The pictures you see were taken at the new location on Hope Street in El Centro!

Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you Corazo Credit Union for your support and for being the pulse of the pets! 🐾❤️

We are thrilled to share some incredible news for the pets and people of Imperial County! 🐾🎉

Our organization received approval for a grant in the amount of $636,000 through the Community Benefit Program, to build and implement a High-Quality, High-Volume (HQHV) Mobile Spay and Neuter Program, serving communities throughout Imperial County!

This investment is a major milestone in our mission to reduce pet overpopulation, improve animal welfare, and increase access to affordable spay/neuter and other preventative services for families throughout Imperial County. By bringing these critical services directly to communities in need, we can create lasting, positive change for countless animals and the people who care for them!

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Imperial County Board of Supervisors for recognizing the importance of this program and approving this funding. Their support represents a huge step in the right direction for the future of animal welfare in our community. Together, we are building a brighter future for Imperial County’s pets! ❤️🐶🐱

California Adopt-a-Pet Day was a success! 🐾🤩

14 kitten adoptions and 3 dog adoptions - One being Wiley (very first picture), who had been in the shelter since August of 2024! A grand total of 17 adoptions total in just one day! 🐾🎉

Once again, we would like to thank ASPCA and California Animal Welfare Association for their support in this statewide adoption event and for making every single adoption pawssible! Most importantly, we would like to thank all our adopters for giving these 17 very lucky shelter pets the loving furever homes they deserve! 🐾❤️

Congratulations to all! We look forward to participating again next year! 🐾👍🏼

He came into our care from Calipatria Animal Control in December 2025, and since then he’s been winning hearts left and right. Bud is the kind of dog who lights up every room—or yard—he enters. He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and is always ready for fun. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a brisk morning walk, a backyard zoomie session, or tagging along on your next outdoor adventure, Bud is happiest when he’s on the move and sharing the moment with humans. He would be a fantastic match for an active family looking for a loyal, joyful companion who is always up for playtime and plenty of love.
