Gold Camp Springers & Professional Handling AKC Breeder of Merit of AKC English Springer Spaniels and Professional Handling Services. Gold Camp Kennels originated in Cripple Creek, Colorado in the 1960's.

The original owners, Jay and Kathy Adams, chose the name Gold Camp because Cripple Creek was a mining town during the gold rush. In 1975, I purchased my first springer from the Adams, named Prince Kiota of Gold Camp U.D. He was not a breed dog, but excelled in obedience, and became Gold Camp's first utility dog. When I decided to get another springer the Adams decided to get out of dogs, so they g

ave the Gold Camp name to me. My second springer, and the one I consider my foundation bitch, became Ch. Gold Camp Morningstar. She produced my first Top Ten springer (the first of many). In 1981, I purchased Ch. Southwind's Magic Kira, C.D.X. Kira went on to be among the top ten springers in breed competition in both 1983 and 1984. I have produced over 20 champions to date with many more to finish. Kira was the first of many Jester springers to come to Gold Camp. Currently the majority of dogs at Gold Camp are either Jester or are a result of Jester/Gold Camp breeding. There are many more breedings planned. At Gold Camp I strive to produce a healthy, stable dog that can go into anyone's home and be a loving companion. Since the majority of the dogs I breed become family pets, as well as show dogs, temperament in my number one concern. That has been my goal and will continue to be as long as I breed these wonderful dogs.

By popular demand we are adding two new parts to the Grooming Webinar. It will be live Saturday, Jan 2, 2021 at 11:30 am Pacific time for Part 5. This will be a detailed video on "Trimming the underline." And then at 1:00 pm Pacific time we will be going live again for Part 6 "A to Z ring prep." You will be able to ask question while we are live. And then you can watch the video over and over anytime you want.
The cost is $50 for part 5 and 6 or $120 for all 6 parts if you have not already purchased the previous ones. You can pay via PayPal to [email protected]. Be sure to mark paying friends and family. You can PM me for anymore questions.

Our upcoming webinars will commence on Sunday June 28th, 9.30 Pacific time so will begin in Europe at 1800 hrs. with the English Springer Spaniel followed at 4pm with the Welsh Springer Spaniel The videos will be LIVE. To purchase participation to the LIVE seminars and be able to ask questions, please watch for upcoming information. For those who cannot view LIVE at this time you will also be able to purchase the webinar after the live seminar. You will have unlimited access thereafter to refer back at anytime. You will be able to ask questions on the feed and Lynda will get back to you in a timely manner.
