We specialize in breeding happy, healthy, and sociable pet rats. All of our Squeakin' Pups are held and loved on from the very first week of life. Our entire family, including children, have a hand in playing with and caring for our litters. We also socialize every litter with adult rats to make any transitions into established groups of rats easier. Our rat breeding is more of a hobby at this tim

e, and we've only been breeding since February of 2016. I do not claim to be an expert, and my rats have no pedigree and none of the litters are seen by a vet before adoption. Our goal is to simply provide sweet tempered pets you will be happy to love for their whole life.

Summer has the litters not pairing as quickly or reliably, so we are at about 15-20% success rate with the litters from July pairs. August pairs have just started arriving, but hoping for better results. Pairing more this week for late October/early November homes.

Litter Update for the Week!
- Two WWC litters (Starfire (F)/Daredevil (M) and Batwoman (F)/Daredevil (M)) born this week.
- One Cross-line litter (Sasparilla (F)/Kung Pao (M)) born this week. This litter is a double cross to SQKN from WWC. Sasparilla is also a cross-line baby.
- One SQKN litter (Adeline (F)/Kung Pao (M)) born this week.

More litters are expected to arrive over the next week from our June and early July pairings. I'll update again when there is more to tell. :) Thank you to everyone praying that the girlies would get preggo. We have had such a long delay because the summer heat was making them uninterested in mating. Luckily the dropping of the thermostat by 2 degrees helped enough that we are seeing success with the July pairings. I may repair the June ones (which had a number of dwarf litters and my Siamese/Burmese hopefuls).

If anyone is interested in possibly adopting, it appears we will have a good number of female babies in these litters so far. It's a little early to be certain of gender, but on first inspection they look to be more than half of them female. Adoption info is on the website:

I have started notifying the wait list for the current baby girls available. There are a total of 3 girls available. I can send them to one home on August 22 or there is one available now and the other two available August 22. If you are adopting only one, you must have rats at home currently.

Fill out an application if you are not already on my approved adopter list. Past adopters from 2020 and sooner do not need to complete new forms, just reach out to add more to your current group.
