Dear Valued Clients,
For over 30 years we have been trusted to serve you and your pets with personal, passionate and professional care. We have prided ourselves in the ability to meet your expectations and provide services when you've needed it the most. However, the last 12-16 months have brought many changes and we feel like we are falling short of this standard.
As many of you know, there has been an upsurge in pet adoptions, resulting in increased numbers of patients needing to be seen by our veterinarians. That coupled with changes within our own staffing has stretched our availability thin in the attempt to accommodate our services for 6 days a week.
This has resulted in understandable frustrations on your part as phone and appointment wait times have increased and the exhaustion of our staff as they have worked tirelessly to maintain everyone's expectations and continue to provide a high standard of care. Unfortunately this is a compounding problem that is affecting not only our hospital but all veterinary professionals, nationwide.
As a result, we will be modifying our hours indefinitely in an effort to increase our availability to you during the week. Effective September 13th we will no longer be open on Saturdays. Our hours of operation will continue to be 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
We strongly believe that by making this change we will be able to increase efficiency and our availability to you during the week.
This change will also be a much needed reprieve for our staff who have adapted to pandemic changes and an increased workload over the past 12-16 months to remain open and available during a time of high uncertainty.
