Pet Welfare is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located on Eglin Air Force Base in Northwest Florida. Pet Welfare has been in operation since 1982 and works to rehome cats and dogs in the Florida Panhandle, with a focus on supporting the military community by easing the hardship associated with surrendering the family cat or dog due to circumstances out of their control. Puppies and kittens and scales, oh my!

What a fun day we had yesterday with our foster families bringing their fur kids in for a quick weigh-in and wellness check!

Our office was brimming with cuteness and smiles.

These lovelies aren’t quite ready for adoption yet but we will keep you posted on possible ‘foster to adopt’ opportunities and ‘ready for adoption’ timelines!

Happy Tails update:

Mimi 2 was adopted a few weeks ago and she is thriving in her new home!

Her owners say she has totally taken over, has made friends with everyone, and basically does what she pleases.

She even has a new best friend named Bob! We are so happy for Mimi and her new family. 🫶🫶
