Shady Oak Cattle Dogs Shady Oak Cattle Dogs was founded in 2019, but have owned ACD years before being founded. All pups come fully vetted with their own vet booklet.

We live on a farm with horses, cows, goats and chickens, so our pups are raised around livestock.

Whiskey is looking for her forever home. She is up to date on all her vaccines. I perfer her to go to a home without kids running around. She has never bit anyone but she is very protective when she hears a kid scream while playing. All together she is very protective of us. She is 3 years old. She will sit and wait for commands and loves attention. She is not spayed. She has been bred once but after becoming very protective I decided not to breed her again. She is free to a good home, but there will be a few requirements before allowing her to go.
* there will be a meet and greet to make sure she is comfortable with you.
* be knowledgeable about the breed. (Herding is what they're bred for)
* you understand that Whiskey would be better in a home without kids. She loves our son but will go after anyone chasing him.
* you agree to stay in contact with me on how she's doing.
If you believe you are a great home for her please reach out.
** Note: if I don't personally know you please understand that I may ask a lot of questions so she doesnt end up in the wrong home**

Christmas ornaments will be started this coming week. These are made for Minnies last litter 2025. A few are one the list to have one made and shipped which is all free as a thank you gift. If you dont know if you will be having one sent or would like one sent please reach out before October 24th. The ornament has a decal with a heeler on it along with your puppies name and birthday.

Dallas aka Dally. As most have seen we have decided to no longer breed. We kept Dally from Whiskeys litter from "24". Dally just turned 1 in May. She's very smart and watches for your command. She can be very hardheaded and not listen when it comes to being around other dogs. She wants to chase after the neighbors dog like she owns both yards. Could be a easy fix with training. Just haven't put a lot of training into her which is unfair to her and that's why I'm rehoming her. Her rehoming fee is half price but only to the right home. If we have any concerns we will request certain information to make sure your the right fit for her.

First and foremost we want to say Thank you to everyone that's trusted Shady Oak Cattle Dogs with their little fur baby family members. With that said we have decided to no longer breed. Minnie is 5 years old and this was her second litter, so she will now be spayed and live her golden years out as a happy country farm dog herding the livestock. There's no dog in our heart that could take her place when it comes to breeding for the bloodline. Yes we have 1 of each of her litters, but that's to just have a part of Minnie to carry on. We take pride in knowing that our bloodline wasn't over bred and raised best as possible. What's our focus now? We will now turn to training our heelers here on the farm for herding and other commands. As always we are here anytime you need us for support or other concerns. And we love updates of your furry baby 💜
