I just wanted to let y'all know how grateful I am.
As Grateful Dog Walks comes up on our first full calendar year of offering services to the Effingham area, I have been reflecting on all the wonderful pet owners, dogs and cats that I have met over the last year+

Thank you to everyone who has put their trust in me to care for your Dogs, Cats, and even Caterpillars. It has been an Honor to get to know you and your family members. I look forward to it every time I get a call or message to help out. I truly value every one of my pack members!

To everyone that has followed, liked, shared, or even just recommended Grateful Dog Walks to someone they know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every little thing helps small business grow and word of mouth is huge in the pet sitting and dog walking world. Trust and transparency is everything when caring for other peoples animals. Thank you for trusting and vouching for me.

I'm looking forward to the future of Grateful Dog Walks and plan to continue growing my skills and the business in the new year.

Our Heart of the Holler for the month of August ties into our Dog Days of Summer supporting Effingham County Animal Shelter & Control by donating a portion of all bagged coffee sold from our drive thru locations to helping pay vet bills for locally rescued animals.

This month only… pick up a bag of Whitney Roofing “Pete’s Wooftop Blend” from either of our drive thru locations. It is available in 12 oz size bags only. When you purchase their hand picked blend from our drive up window this month, a portion of each sale will go directly to our animal shelter!

Purchase a Drink or Food Item from Fox Holler Coffee in Effingham and tell them you are a dog parent and receive a QR code sticker. Scan that QR code and you will be brought to a landing page with the Discount Offer!! As well as more information about the great things Fox Holler Coffee is doing for The Dog Days of Summer and a Gallery of Adoptable dogs from Effingham County Animal Shelter & Control that are looking for their FURever Homes!

Starting tomorrow at our Effingham drive thru, tell your barista that you are a dog parent and receive a QR code sticker on your drink or food item with an exclusive discount for Grateful Dog Walks local services.

This will be a part of our new Dog Days of Summer promotion supporting locally owned businesses and our local animal shelter through adoption and donation.

Austin Stark, owner of Grateful Dog Walks volunteers at the Effingham County Animal Control most Mondays through Fridays walking and socializing dogs helping them learn basic manners and sometimes how to trust. When you scan his QR code from your favorite coffee, you will be taken to a page he has created that encourages pet adoption from our local shelter to help them maintain their earned no-kill status. Effingham’s animal shelter is only one of two no-kill animal shelters in the state of Illinois. This year they have received a record high intake rate and need help opening up available kennels through adoptions. Having available kennels will allow them to continue saving animals lives.
