Thinking of our amazing friend Melissa today. 🙏
One of Aubrey’s canine friends, Melissa’s girl Meg, has come to join Aubrey at the bridge.
We remember the party that this picture was taken at like it was yesterday. Such a fun day at one of Aubrey’s favorite places, celebrating Deanie’s birthday.

I often talk about still feeling Aubrey’s presence and her communicating with me since her passing.

Our foster Emma is dog friendly but always keeps a solid bubble around her, she never sits with the other dogs and usually gets grouchy if another tries to sit with her.
I woke up to this last night. Emma and Larry sleeping together.

Miss you terribly Aubrey Girl. Thanks for letting me know you’re ok.

Since Aubrey’s passing she has found ways to communicate and let me know she’s ok.
Not sure why I was watching this video of her from 2017 today. There she was though, winking at me toward the end of the video. 🥺

Yesterday was the anniversary of Aubrey’s rescue in 2015. The memories always come flooding back on this day but it’s been extremely hard since I lost her over a year ago. It still doesn’t seem real that she’s gone.
Yesterday was made so much easier though when I got a text from Goldie’s adopter with these pictures. Aubrey passed shortly after I returned from my first trip to Blytheville attempting to rescue Goldie. I see so much of Aubrey in Goldie so when Goldie was finally rescued a few months later I know in my heart Aubrey was there helping.
These pictures of Goldie living the spoiled life really lifted my spirits on a rough day.
Thank you so much Alixe and Steve for being Goldie’s Happily Ever After. Aubrey is watching over her.
