Canine Companion

Canine Companion Our company provides everyday pet services to the customers to fit their particular pet needs. Our prices are competitive with some exceptions.

We offer a free initial in-home consultation to assess your pet needs. But due to covid precautions will be taken and we can discuss over the phone. The reason why you may find cheaper places is because they can’t offer what we can. Ours are more 1 on 1 interaction with your furry companion. We are dog lovers and it kills us when we use to have to board our animals in cages with barely any attenti

on. We strive to make your dogs stay and yours as comfortable as possible. We will send daily photos and videos of your dog to see how they’re doing to ease any concern. If you need services not listed below, please message us for a quicker response and one of our employees will get back in to you to discuss any of your questions. (We do our best to respond back in two hours or less) As of right now we are only set up for cash payments. Once we grow we will expand further. Discounted rates can be negotiated if you would be interested in setting up a weekly services or even more frequent visits than that.

***
The reasons why prices may vary on multiple services is due to frequency, and or if your canine companion needs to be picked up and or dropped off.

Private Boarding- Our pets are like our family and I’m sure you feel the same way. We want both of you to be as stress free as possible. We offer daily pet pics/videos of the stay, and we also offer kennel free. We know how stressful leaving your dog can be and how hard it can be on your dog so exceptions MAY have to be made for temporarily kenneling of your companion. We try to avoid kenneling as much as we possibly can but there is always a slight chance it may occur. SERVICES LISTED BELOW

- Private Dog Walks ($30+ Prices may varies on location)

Additional charges will apply on these following holidays: Easter, Memorial Day and Weekend, Fourth of July week/weekend, Labor Day and Weekend, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day(weekend). Payments will be due before the first day of service. A down payment will be necessary to book and that amount will go towards your overall statement. Sorry for the inconvenience but we’ve fallen into issues on more than one occasion in the past and it’s something we have to do. In case of an unexpected occurrence or emergencies where you need our services they will be available at an additional charge. Whether that be unexpected working overtime, out of town trip, or medical emergency. The additional price is charged because we will have to change that days appointments around. We do accept short notice requests, but if the short notice is less than 24 hours there will be an additional $10 fee/per service day. We provide daily pictures and or video updates of your furry companion and our time together. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible and have your mind at ease because our dogs are like our family and I bet you feel the same way. Our clients love to see their companion playing with our sitters and getting the love and attention they deserve without being stuck in a kennel.

My name is Jo and I'm waiting for my miracle.
I've spent a long time waiting. I was abandoned when I was just three months old and have been at the shelter ever since. I'm ten months old now.
That means I've never really gotten a chance to live in a home. My friends here tell me all about it- how dogs are supposed to be snuggled and cherished, how they're supposed to get to go for walks in creek beds and fall asleep on the couch and learn how to give high fives. How they're supposed to grow up loved.
Dogs are supposed to be "man's best friend," but I've never had a best friend. Not a human one, anyway. See, I'm very shy. I won't approach a stranger and sometimes not even my friends. The shelter is a hard place to work on that- it's noisy and there are lots of strangers and smells and it's hard to feel safe. But I've still made a LOT of progress!
I love going for walks (although I need some encouragement sometimes) and I'm a sucker for treats. But most of all, I really love playing with other dogs. It's the only time I can really let my guard down and just... be a puppy! I would love to have a home with another dog to keep me company and teach me about being a pet.
I know it might be hard for me to find a home. And maybe since I'm so shy, nobody is going to want me for a while. But one thing I've learned is that, for every person out there who is callous enough to leave a puppy to fend for herself, there's another person with a big enough heart to be willing to give a scared little girl a chance at living the life she deserves... the life I deserve. So I'm not giving up hope. I just KNOW my future will be full of walks and couch naps and, best of all.... love.
Oh, one more thing- I need a secure fenced in yard to keep me safe at home until I learn to trust my person!
My name is Jo, I'm ten months old, and I'm spayed, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. If you'd like to meet me, please go to odas.org/adopt/application and fill out an application. I'm available for adoption through

I do not believe in gifting pets but I believe rescues are the most loyal pets you can have.

You might be wondering- has the shelter run out of cats? Are they now posting Absence-of-Cats? Like "Please adopt this small dark gap in space, her name is Baklava" or "Dear, have you fed the pointy-eared void yet?"
Believe it or not, I'm not a metaphysical shadow at all. I'm a living, breathing, corporeal cat! You can pet me and everything! In fact, I strongly encourage it. I love people and I'm very affectionate.
My name really is Baklava and I'm about two years old. I'm a little bit shy at first, but warm up quickly with the aid of a few treats. Around the other cats, I'm a peaceful lady who mostly keeps to myself, so I get along well with them and am content to stay out of their space. I'm pretty chill- I'll notice a toy, but I don't go nuts for it. It may be partly that I'm not all that comfortable here and will show more of my goofball side in a home, or it may be that I really am just that mellow.
I mean- does all that sound like a sentient patch of emptiness to you? No. Because I'm not. I'm a cat.

They say opposites attract... and we're a perfect example of that! We're like night and day. Yin and Yang. Chili and mango. But our actual names? Well, I'm Eggs Benedict (Eggs for short) and my sister is Waffles.
We may be very different- She's black, I'm orange. She's shy, I'm outgoing. She stays in one spot all day long and I like to explore. You wouldn't think it would work! But it does. When we need comfort, we cuddle together. And honestly, I'd probably be okay- I'm pretty adaptable and I get along with all the other cats in my section. I spend all day running around playing, hanging out, and begging for cuddles from the volunteers. But Waffles... well, she kind of depends on me. She gets along fine with other cats, too, but she likes me best.
We do have a lot in common- we're both the same age (one year), we're both very sweet and gentle, and we're both 100% adorable. We're definitely worth loving.
So listen- in the shelter, chances are good that, if you visit the shelter, I'll be the one you fall for initially. At first, you might just have to consider Waffles a bonus. You know- adopt Eggs, get Waffles. But as time goes on and she comes out of her shell, you'll get to see how we BOTH shine!

Hey - Don't forget to leave carrots out for the reindeer, they're hungry too.
(This is adoptable Fendi and honestly we don't know why there isn't a line out of our door for her! Come meet her, she lives at our shelter! She snores, snorts, grunts, cuddles, and plays...she is perfection.)

Old man Leo is one of the most gentle, loving boys living at the sanctuary. He is friends with everyone (dogs and people alike), loves to go for rides in his stroller (walking can be tough some days), and is as content as can be observing his surroundings. We love his heart and feel lucky to know and care for him! 🥰
