Happy Thursday!

After much thought, Elise’s Every Pet has decided we will no longer be accepting new clients.

In December, I graduate with my BSN and will be taking state boards to become a licensed and registered nurse. This time next year I am unsure if I will be able to pet sit at all.

Next semester, I hope to get a part time job in a hospital before i graduate college.

Long story short, it’s time to grow up and become a big girl in the work force.

Current clients are still welcome to reach out and schedule new dates! You all supported me through the years and I adore you!

It’s a Girl Party this weekend 🎉👯‍♀️ I am so excited to spend some time with Reba and Birdie, and Bella and Bubbles!

It’s gonna be hot! Here are a few reminders as we have officially entered summer!

🐾 Check pavement temperatures before letting fur babies outside. if it’s too hot for you it’s too hot for them!
☀️ Always make sure animals have a source of fresh water, and be careful giving large chested dogs lots of water at once, as this can lead to bloat!
😎 Senior dogs, puppies, long haired, and short faced dogs (pugs, boxers, bulldogs, shih tzus, pekingese, and more) all have a higher risk of overheating. Exercise extra caution in high temps.
⛱️ Ticks are bad this year, so make sure your pets are on prevention, and check your pets regularly for fleas and ticks

Pet Of the Week! Ava

Ava and I spent over a week together over the summer, and by the end we were attached at the hip! She loves to play “chase” and hide and seek. Her Strawberry bandana was the cutest thing ever. She’s very loved and spoiled by her mama, and I always enjoy spoiling her when i’m there 🐾❤️

Pets of the week! Dan & Ava

Dan the man and Ava are my first experiences with Basenjis! They’ve got personalities like no other, and definitely love their mom and dad. Dan and Ava give some of the best snuggles. They enjoy bird watching with their cat friend Gertrude, and i do join them 😝
