Rebel went home with Matt, Jessica, and Memphis! Thank you Matt and Jessica for choosing another Heart & Soul Havanese to join your sweet family! They also have Tilly from our very first litter! They have decided to keep his name Rebel as it seems quite fitting. He’s having a blast playing with his two canine sisters, Tilly and Lucy, and his human big brother, Memphis, is really fun! Jessica said, “Easy transition. I think he likes it here”. We have no doubt that Rebel is absolutely loving his forever family! ❤️

Dart (now Oakley) left this morning with his forever family. Joyce and David also have Finn from our litter in February 2024. They jumped at the chance to add another havanese to their family. Thank you for choosing our Havanese not once but twice! We know Oakley will be so loved! He’s incredibly lucky to be joining your family ❤️

Just like the song “Leaving on a Jet Plane”, Missy (now Smoothie) flew home with her forever family to Kansas. Jenny, Cali and Joey all flew in to pick her up and this gotcha day made us all smile so big. She did amazing on the plane and has been the “BEST puppy”. Her transition into her new home has been flawless and she’s doing all the things we work on, using her puppy manners and potty pads. Wishing Smoothie, Jenny, Cali and Joey a lifetime of puppy love, adventure and fun! ❤️

Our Havanese puppies, Rebel, Dart and Missy, are 7 weeks old today. Their activity level is now running, jumping, wrestling and pure puppy chaos 😂 Missy and Dart are the most consistent with the potty pads. Rebel is the busiest and most vocal. Missy is the pack leader and loves belly rubs. Rebel is ornery and always trying to get someone to wrestle, chase or pounce on. Dart is the most laid back. They come when called and love people. Their new families are excited for gotcha day next week ❤️

Bath time! Last night the puppies received their first bath. Dart was the most laid back and well behaved, no whining or attempting to jump out. Missy only voiced her displeasure a couple of times, trying to escape towards the end. Rebel the most dramatic, voicing his displeasure from start to finish. It’s always interesting to observe their personalities. The same was true at the Vet’s office. Dart just went along with it all. Missy only vocalized her displeasure when her nails were trimmed. Rebel let us know that he was not happy with the whole experience 😊
We are working on placements and they will go home 6/8-6/13. ❤️

Hotty Toddy! Our havanese puppies are 6 weeks old today! They had their first big outing today to our vet. They all received glowing reports and are healthy puppies. They only weigh 5-6 ounces at birth. Today Rebel weighed 2.3 pounds, Missy 1.9 pounds and Dart 1.7 pounds. They are growing beautifully!

Missy, Dart and Rebel are 5 weeks old today ❤️ They are running, wrestling, love toys and becoming very curious. Missy was the first to get her puppy teeth. They are weaned and learning to use potty pads. They love people. Rebel wants to be out of the pen 24/7 with people and the big dogs. We are working to turn whining and howling into self soothing, contentment. It’s a process but we’ll get there.

Our Hotty Toddy Havanese litter turned 4 weeks old today. We began the process of weaning by introducing puppy food. They are transitioning to a new pen as Rebel figured out how to escape the whelping box. We introduced potty pads today and all 3 pups had success! We also introduced the kennel.

Our Hotty Toddy Havanese litter is 3.5 weeks old now. Between weeks 2 & 3, they move from self awareness (seeing their own paws, etc) to becoming aware of their surroundings and littermates. They are moving all over the whelping box now, realizing that they aren’t alone. The earliest signs of play begin. They started wobbly walking and figuring out their own movements. Sometimes they intend to go forward but instead move in reverse. Their coats begin to show wavy fur instead of slick newborn coats. Rebel has been the first to do everything so far but they are all right on time in their developmental milestones. ❤️🐶
