As I prepare to reopen for grooming, in less than a month, I wanted to share a few important updates and changes with you all. Please take the time to read, (and Share) if you are considering being a client of mine 🩵

I will be open 1-2 Saturdays a month, from 9:00am-4:00pm.

🩵 I now have an updated list of policies that all clients will be asked to read over and sign before becoming a client. You are also welcome to request a copy for your own records.
🩵I also have a new client agreement form that all clients will need to review and sign. Over the past 3 years in business, I have learned a lot, and this agreement is in place to help protect both myself and my clients. We will each have a signed copy of our own.
🩵I now have updated my pricing chart. Like many businesses, rising costs mean that prices must occasionally increase in order for me to continue providing quality grooming services.
🩵I now offer easy and accessible online booking! You can find it by visiting my Facebook business page, at Sammy’s Pet Salon, and scrolling down until you see the “Online Booking” link. •This is a new service, so if you have any troubles with it, please message me so we can sort it out together! ( You may book an appointment online starting May 1st, first available appointment will be starting on May 25th, and any day after that! ) if you can’t find the link on my FB page, message me at (618-302-4642) and I can send it to you!
🩵A non-refundable deposit will now be required at the time of booking. The deposit will be half of the total grooming cost. For example, if a groom is $50, a $25 deposit will be required when scheduling. This deposit will be applied toward your total at checkout when you arrive for your appointment. If an appointment is missed or canceled without notice, the deposit will not be refunded. (Unless it’s an emergency) This was not an easy decision for me, but based on past experiences, it is the best choice for my business moving forward.
🩵Cash & Card are now the only acceptable methods of payment!
🩵I will now only respond to text messages & phone calls on my cell, at ( 618-302-4642 ) I will not be responding to anything I receive on my business messenger account, as to I hardly ever see those.

As many of you know, I’ve had a lot of fun creating colorful looks on my dog in the past — including turning her into a leopard, and other fun designs! (Photos included in the comments) I’m excited to announce that I am now offering small pet-safe dye services!
I use Opawz products, which are made specifically for pets and are completely animal-safe.
Since I am just getting started with this service, I am looking for a few
“practice pups.”
Your pet’s first color appointment with me will be completely FREE while I continue learning and perfecting my skills.
🐾 Here is a list of information and requirements for me to be able to provide this service for your furry-friends!
•Pets should be kept on a regular grooming schedule every 4-6 weeks to keep their coat healthy and help the color look its best! (8 weeks can work too, depending on your pets coat type)
•Pets must be able to stand calmly for longer appointments, especially for full-body color jobs.
•I use semi-permanent dye, which can last up to 6- months depending on coat length and grooming.
•At this time, I will only be coloring light-colored dogs, as darker coats do not show color as well, and I am not yet comfortable lightening darker coats.
•Full-body color appointments can take several hours, while smaller areas like ears, tails, or feet take much less time.
•Pets must not be aggressive or overly difficult to handle for safety reasons.
•I would love to offer fun seasonal designs like pumpkins for fall, snowflakes for winter, flowers for summer/spring and more!
•After the first free appointment, future color services will be priced fairly due to the cost of products and time involved.
•Pets with skin issues, allergies, or sensitive skin will not be good candidates for dye services.
•I will only be offering this service on SATURDAYS (not during the week) I will be working 1-2 Saturdays a month, from 9:00-4:00-and those will be my “fun days” to color your fur-babies!
