Thank you to everyone who participated in the spring clinic with Dolly Hannon Dressage this past weekend! Clinic attendees displayed commitment, focus, and passion--and they experienced many successes and improvements in their sessions. The CEC staff also worked hard in advance to get the barn in incredible shape for this special weekend. WAY TO GO!

It's feeling a lot like SPRING here these past few days at the CEC. Snow banks are melting out, and we're ready to ride! Dutch doors are open on the stalls, and our barn cat, Polly, is enjoying the sun.

Activities include riding lessons, horse-related games, activities, and mixed media art projects for four days of FUN. Happy holidays from the CEC! Thanks to all of the boarders, staff, and friends who came out celebrate with us at our holiday party over the weekend. We decked out the barn (and horses) for the occasion and had a crew participate in a festive quadrille--a dance routine with horses and riders. Hoping you all are out there making the most of this festive time of year!

Sharing a few HORSE UPDATES today! Emmett, our oldest school horse, has moved to Arizona for a well-deserved retirement, where he's enjoying sunny skies and warmer temps. We're continuing to ride here in Cordillera--in the sunshine...and out in the snow. Here are a few recent photos of Cinnamon, one of our loyal lesson horses, out on the trail after last week's storm.

We wish you a joy-filled Thanksgiving holiday! The Cordillera Metro District admin offices will be CLOSED Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28–29. We look forward to being back in action on Monday, December 2! As a reminder, Thanksgiving is a no-work holiday. Work access *will NOT* be allowed between 5:30 PM on Wednesday, November 27, and 7:30 AM on Friday, November 29. Work *WILL* be allowed Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30.

A big SHOUTOUT to Dolly Hannon Dressage and a special THANK YOU to all who made our clinic with Dolly this past weekend simply amazing. This clinic was the third and final clinic of our fall season. We're looking forward to putting all that we have learned into practice throughout the winter season.
