Compassion 4 Paws was wonderful in helping me let my baby boy Max cross the rainbow ๐ bridge last week. I'm completely heartbroken, but having them help me was such a blessing.
Dr.Kelly, Dr.Nicole, Dr.Sara, Tasha and Eliza ๐๐thank you so much for everything you did!๐
Thank you Dr. Allison Edwards for your compassion and quick service on a Sunday. Our Maggie deserved a calm beautiful surrounding and you were great. Thank you.

Long Story Short: If you are already facing the extremely difficult decision to peacefully put your puppy-kid to rest, Compassion 4 Paws is amazing and will be the best decision during this awful time.
Full Review: My beloved vet and I had been discussing letting my babydog go for months, and I chose Compassion 4 Paws at her suggestion once I confirmed it was time. I adopted my โfirst-bornโ at the age of 9 weeks, and she was 15.5+ years old when it was time to let her go, so I wanted to make sure she was sent off as peacefully and comfortably as possible. They are aptly named, as the Care Coordinators showed nothing but compassion from start to finish. I primarily interacted with Shawnee, and she made everything clear and easy for me, and never made me feel like a nuisance with my 1,000 questions. I had never met Dr. Tessa before the procedure, but you would have thought she, my dog and I all had a loving relationship for years with the way we interacted. Dr. Tessa gave me exactly what I needed during an incredibly sad time, treating us and our home with the utmost respect and kindness. I paid for an extra clay paw print, and gave very specific instructions on how to engrave my petsโ unique name, and there were no hiccups with either request. I was told it would take 10-14 days to receive the ashes back from the private cremation, but I received them in 6 days, and was given a call by Shawnee the next day to make sure my vet reached out for pick-up. I couldnโt have asked for a better send off for my four-legged soulmate, even given the extra considerations due to the pandemic. I highly recommend.
Picture Description from Left to Right: Sympathy card received after the procedure, photo of my dog in a frame that I put together, box of ashes from Compassion 4 Paws with the special engraving, claw paw print from Dr. Tessa framed with two photos of my late puppy-kid.
Our dearest boy O'Malley left us yesterday, and Dr. Sara was just wonderful. He drifted away peacefully at his favorite place at home, surrounded by people who loved him. It is a tremendously devastating time for us, but there is also much calmness and comfort because of Dr. Sara and Compassion 4 Paws. Thank you very much for what you do.
Can you tell me if any of you have references you might be able to provide for a similar service in the Walla Walla area? Or maybe a referral to a compassionate vet that you may know, who would be willing to provide the same type of care you provide for end of life. I moved to the eastern side since I used your services, several years ago when I lost my MacKenzie to CHF. My oldest Bulldog is now 13.1 doing very well, but I would like to get some plans in order. We lost one a couple of years ago here in Walla Walla, she was 12 1/2 yrs and it wasn't the best experience with our vet clinic.
Thank you Dr. Allison & Team for the timely response to my need to help end my Lillyโs suffering. You and your Team responded with such compassion, kindness, caring and genuine professionalism that helped me to get through this painful experience. I am forever grateful and will never forget you. Our tribute to our Lilly.
From Dr. Maia's initial visit to Dr. Audrey's compassionate passing visit, I cannot recommend Compassion 4 Paws highly enough. Both doctor's visits were so very caring and nothing was more important to them than our pet's comfort and our peace of mind during this very difficult time. Kaeto, our 6 year old Alaskan Malamute, had succumbed to osteosarcoma and his passing after such an horrible illness was made more bearable thanks to these incredible ladies.
Thank you, Dr Audrey for your compassion in helping us say Goodbye to our lovely 19 year old kitty, Soleil. We believe she felt loved until her final breath.
Miss Rio, so hard to believe it has been a year since we said good bye. So grateful to Dr. Sara for making a horrible day more bearable.
Today was a rough one, we had to say goodbye to a member of our family, Lucky๐. She came to us when my mom passed nearly 7 years ago. She would fiercely protect our home and family, and love us even more.
You will be missed Lucky.
A big thx to Compassion 4 Paws
I want to thank Dr Audrey for helping our Odin cross the rainbow bridge today. Our hearts are hurting but we really appreciate the love and care you showed Odin in his last moments ๐
