When done right, crate training becomes your dog’s safe space — like their own little bedroom.

Here’s how to create positive vibes around the crate:

🔹 Make it cozy. Add a soft bed, favorite toy, and maybe an item with your scent.
🔹 Feed meals inside the crate. This builds happy associations.
🔹 Keep the door open at first. Let your dog explore it freely without pressure.
🔹 Never use the crate as punishment. It should always feel like a chill zone, not a timeout spot.
🔹 Start with short sessions. Gradually increase crate time while you’re home.

💤 Bonus: Dogs instinctively like dens. With gentle training, they’ll love having their own quiet corner to relax.
