Rainbow Session | Murray + Daisy 🌈

Murray and his sister Daisy came with so much love wrapped around them. We took our time, soaked in the sunshine, and captured the quiet, beautiful moments that make a Rainbow Session so meaningful. Not long after this session, sweet Murray crossed the Rainbow Bridge after losing his battle with cancer. 😢💔

His parents were grateful to have these memories frozen in time. Proof of a life deeply loved, a bond unbreakable, and a soul that will always be felt. Daisy, who continues her own brave journey with cancer, showed us her strength and sweetness right alongside her brother. Together, they reminded us just how precious every moment truly is.

💛 A little note for Murray’s mama:
Murray was your soul dog, and it showed in every glance, every gentle touch, every moment you shared. I hope these photos wrap around you like a hug on the days you miss him most, and remind you just how lucky you were to find each other. His love is still so very present.

I feel truly honored to have met this incredibly sweet and precious duo. Their story is one that will always matter. 🌈🐾

🌈 Remembering Sweet Chloe 🌈

Beautiful Chloe earned her angel wings far too soon. ✨🪽

To her amazing mama, thank you for trusting me over the years to capture so many memories of your girls. Their boxy heads, big pittie smiles, and joyful energy always brought so much light to my sessions. 🥰

I feel so grateful to have photographed Chloe through the years, from her first session with her sister, Lola at Mitch Park, to colorful mural backdrops, to cozy studio portraits at home, and finally, her favorite place of all… her own backyard. Each session with her was such a gift. 🩶

When Chloe was diagnosed with aggressive cancer this summer, her mom made sure she got one more special day doing what she loved most, soaking up the sun, sitting in the grass, and being surrounded by love at home.

That day will always stay with me. A dear friend and her soul dog, sharing a bond that spoke louder than words ever could. My heart is with Chloe’s family, but I know she’s watching over them now, waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈⭐️

Rest easy, sweet Chloe. You were so loved and will be forever missed. 🕊️💞

🐾Did you know that Pit Bulls were called “Nanny Dogs”

Myth #3: Pit bulls aren’t safe around kids.

✨ Truth: With love, training, and supervision (like any dog needs), pitties are some of the most affectionate, gentle, and downright goofy family members you could ask for. 💕

Their patience and loyalty even earned them the nickname “nanny dogs.” These big-hearted pups adore their little humans, playing fetch in the yard, snuggling during movie nights, and soaking up every ounce of love. 🐶

Let’s give pitties the credit they deserve for being the loving family dogs they truly are.

🐾 Myth vs. Truth: Pitbull Edition 🐾

🚫 Myth #2: Pit bulls have “locking jaws.”

✨ Truth: Nope! That’s pure myth. There’s no special jaw mechanism, just strong muscles and a whole lot of enthusiasm (kind of like how Labs refuse to drop their tennis balls 🎾).

That same jaw is used to flash the biggest pittie smiles 😁, gobble up all the treats 🦴, and cover you in endless kisses 💋. Let’s keep spreading the truth about this lovable breed! 💖

Earnie Needs a Foster or Forever Home! 🏡⭐️

Meet Earnie 🐾 a brave survivor with the sweetest soul. After enduring unthinkable cruelty, this boy had a life-changing surgery and is now healthy and ready for love. 💙

Sadly, he’s spent most of his young life in a kennel, and it’s breaking his spirit. 💔 Earnie is gentle, affectionate, and full of life, but he’s feeling the effects of boarding life and needs a home to heal.

October is Pitbull Awareness Month, and Earnie is the perfect reminder that love, not labels, define a dog. He’s living proof that Pitbulls are loyal, kind, and deserving of so much more. 💞

He’d thrive as a shop dog 🧰 or yard buddy. Earnie also loves toys 🧸, chewies 🦴, car rides 🚙, and feeling the sun on his face (in true pittie fashion).

If you have space, love, or just a big heart ❤️ you could be the hero Earnie’s been waiting for. Let’s help him finally break free, and show the world what Pitbulls are really made of. 🐾✨

October is Pit Bull Awareness Month 💙🐾

Not everyone knows this, but my love for pitties began with the sweetest soul named Cari. She was my very first pit bull and the reason I’ll always have one in my family.

Cari lived 10 wonderful years, and every single day she showed me the real truth about this breed, that they’re loving, loyal, goofy, and so deeply misunderstood.

That’s why this month is so important to me. Pit bulls are one of the most misjudged breeds out there. But those that know them and love them, know that they are biggest sweethearts, that just want show love and be loved. In a lot of ways, her demeanor comes out in some of Oakley’s tendencies which always brings a smile to my face. And I’m so happy her and Graylee got to meet.

Throughout October, I’ll be featuring some of the beautiful pitties I’ve had the honor of photographing, along with the ones I get to call mine. 🐶✨ Together, let’s shine a light on their true nature, how amazing they truly are and break the myths once and for all.

🍁🐕 The best part of fall? Watching our dogs dive headfirst into leaf piles with tails wagging a mile a minute! From crunchy-leaf zoomies to cozy blanket snuggles and those crisp evening walks, autumn was made for pup adventures. Here’s to cooler days, warmer hearts, and all the wag-filled memories this season brings. ✨

There’s no place like home 🏡✨ and for some pets, that’s exactly where they feel happiest and most comfortable for their photo shoot.

When these sweet pups’ mama mentioned they don’t do well in public, we shifted gears and did an at-home session right in their backyard. They got to run free, play, and—most importantly—stay stress-free. 💛 That’s always my #1 goal during every session.

If your dog doesn’t love public spaces or isn’t leash trained, no worries—we can create beautiful memories right at home! 🐶✨
