Graduating with my associate’s degree is a moment I am incredibly proud of, and I owe so much of this achievement to my parents. Thank you for your constant guidance, support, and for always believing in me even when the journey felt challenging.
I will never forget when I was in elementary school, so close to becoming a Royal Reader. I wanted it so badly that my brother helped me test on a book just to reach my goal. But my mom, wanting me to truly earn it, told the librarian to delete that test. At the time, it felt disappointing, but that moment taught me a lesson I have carried with me ever since; never take shortcuts, because true success comes from hard work and honesty.
Today, as I celebrate this milestone, I know that every step I took was earned. I’ve worked hard, stayed committed, and pushed myself to grow, not just for me, but to make my parents proud.
This is only the beginning, and I will continue striving to reach even greater goals, always carrying the values you instilled in me.
