With new dogs coming and going, early goose and teal season starting, we’ve been a little behind.

We attended the Mississippi Valley HRC test back in August. Great tests and great people!

We came home with 4 new titled dogs.

Finally getting around to brag on our hunt test dogs. We took 5 dogs to Key City HRC test in Maquoketa, IA over the weekend. The judges and workers put on a great test that really challenged the dogs. Thanks to all who were involved. We’ll definitely be making the trip again next year! Our group went 10/10 on the weekend.

We’re finishing up the last of our obedience dogs for the summer. We will have a select few spots open for obedience this fall/winter. Please reach out to us if you’d like to get your dog some help in becoming a well mannered companion!

We recently got some new faces and a new sign at the kennel. We also have some openings for obedience and gun dog training starting in August.

What a weekend at the Illinois River HRC test at Banner Marsh. Great tests and great workers all weekend.

Ollee, owned by Jim McGowan and Sandy McMillan earned two Finished passes.

Reba, owned by Ryan McJilton earned two Seasoned passes.

Nola, owned by Dale and Jenni Ames earned her SHR title.

Our very own CRK’s Little Trouble in The Making (Mya) earned her SHR title.

And last but not least, our very own CRK RFC’s Liberty and Justice For All (Libby) earned two Seasoned passes.

Thanks to all the judges and workers for making it such a fun and enjoyable weekend.

Our group had a fun and successful weekend at the Bev Amelung Memorial Hunt Test held by Retrievers Unlimted. Dealt with rain on Saturday and cold weather on Sunday but we still had fun. The judges and workers did an awesome job despite the conditions!

Daniel/Nikki White put a Started Title on their dog Jenny.

Ben Kahl put a Started Title on his dog Sage who we helped train.

Dale/Jenny Ames came to watch us get their dog Nola’s first two Started passes.

Wrapping up some obedience training as well as preparing a couple dogs for our first hunt test of the year at the Retriever’s Unlimited spring test in New Athens, IL.
