Three weeks ago, I almost ran over this little guy in the evening. 💔
He was all alone in the street, starving, and I simply couldn’t leave him there.
I brought him home, and over the last three weeks, he has gained 10 pounds with us. He eats and drinks GREAT, but he is still unusually inactive, and we are concerned there may be something much more serious going on internally.
Our veterinarian is concerned that he may have fluid building up inside his abdomen, but we need diagnostic testing to know exactly what we’re dealing with. Abdominal fluid can have many different underlying causes, which is why imaging and further testing are so important.
He has already:
🐾 Been dewormed
🐾 Started his vaccinations
🐾 Tested negative on his f***l
🐾 Started nexgard spectra
-Gained 10 pounds since coming into our care
But now he needs our help.
💙 He needs an abdominal ultrasound/sonogram and X-rays of his abdomen and rear legs.
We rescued him because he needed someone to stop and care enough to give him a chance. Now we need our village to help us figure out why this sweet boy isn't himself.
