📣 Dressage & Combined Test Riders — Don’t Miss the Deadline! 🐎

Entries for the Erie Hunt and Saddle Club scheduled for July 11 are due June 27.

✅ All entries must be postmarked by June 27 — no exceptions.

🛠️🪛🪚 NOTICE: Erie Hunt and Saddle Club Volunteer Opportunity 🛠️🪚🪛

Join us at the Erie Hunt and Saddle Club this Thursday, June 4 at 4 pm to help prepare the grounds for the first Open Show of the season.

We will begin at 4 pm with setting the trail course and then set the jumping course at 7 pm. Board members will be on site working on other activities as well such has hanging banners.

If you have an active membership, this is a fantastic way to earn your required volunteer hours. If you are an active member, you must satisfy your volunteer requirements to be eligible for year end awards.

If you’re new to the horse world and want to learn more about the club, this is a great chance to stop by. We are located at the corner of Old State and Eureka in Edinboro.

📑 Reminder: Erie Hunt and Saddle Club now requires completed Points Entry Registration for the 2026 Season 📑

If you did not see it in the member newsletter in May, here is new, important information for all of our competitors this 2026 season.

If you are chasing points, we ask that you complete our new points registration form at your earliest convenience and email it to the points chair, Rory!

This needs completed in addition to your membership application. This form will better help Rory accurately keep track of your points!

It may seem redundant, but we want to ensure we accurately track what you’ve earned! 💕

🐴🌟 Saddle Up for the EHSC Open Show Series! 🌟🐴

Update 5/29 at 9:52 p.m.

Tracy, the show secretary, will be on grounds Saturday, June 6 to take entries from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Anyone coming on Saturday can get their entries in at that time to be the Sunday morning rush at the show office!

🐎 Help Needed – Dressage Setup! 🌿

Hey EHSC friends! We’re looking for a few extra hands on Friday, May 29 (late afternoon / early evening) to help set up the dressage arena for our Intro to Dressage Weekend.

It’s a great way to pitch in, catch up with fellow members, and accumulate the hours you need to qualify for year - end awards if you are an active member!

Even if you can only stop by for a bit, we’d love the help 💪

🌧️ Volunteer Work Session Update 🌿

Due to the inclement weather forecast, tomorrow’s (Saturday, May 23) volunteer work session has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 24.

We know this falls right before Memorial Day, but we still really need your help to get things ready—every set of hands makes a difference! 💪

Work starts at 10:00 am and will conclude late afternoon. Join for an hour or the whole session. We welcome any and all help!

If you can join us, we’d greatly appreciate it!

The weather forecast for Saturday, May 23, 2026, is not looking favorable for the work we needed to accomplish.

Therefore, the work session has been moved to Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 10:00 am!

We appreciate your flexibility and willingness to come volunteer and hope that we see you on Sunday!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the 17th for our first volunteer work session of the season! Your efforts have kicked off the preparation of the grounds and are the building blocks to a strong foundation this season!

The Erie Hunt and Saddle Club’s next volunteer session is this Saturday, May 23rd. Work will begin around 10 am and last through the late afternoon / early evening.

Come for an hour or stay the whole time, either way, we would love to have your support!

🛠️🐎 Volunteer Work Sessions – Get a Head Start on Your Hours! 🐎🛠️

Mark your calendars! Erie Hunt and Saddle Club first two volunteer work sessions of the season are scheduled for:

📅 Sunday, May 17
📅 Saturday, May 23
⏰ Mid‑morning through mid‑afternoon

These sessions are a great opportunity for active members working toward Year‑End Awards to knock out required volunteer hours early, while helping get the grounds ready for the season ahead.

Volunteers who attend in person will be eligible for random gift card drawings held throughout the day!

✔️ You do not need to stay the entire time
✔️ You must be present at the time of the drawing to win
