When I walk into a home, I’m usually observing one thing before we even start training.
People often think dog training begins when we start working with the dog.
In reality, it starts with observation.
I pay close attention to how the dog interacts with family members, how family members respond to behavior, and what routines are already in place.
These everyday interactions often provide valuable clues about why certain behaviors are happening.
Every dog is different, which is why in-home training can be so effective. We get to work within the environment where behavior actually occurs.
