Hey everyone! We just wanted to put out an alert to all our clients and friends that we have been getting word recently about an increased number of cases of Kennel Cough (Bordetella) and Canine Influenza. We have not seen any cases here personally yet but we want to take all precautions to try and avoid this. Along with our normal disinfecting/cleaning routine each day, we will be running our air ionizer regularly to help neutralize any airborne microorganisms. Since these are airborne illnesses and can be spread before the symptoms even show (typical incubation is 7 - 10 days) we ask that all of our clients please make sure your pets are up to date on their Bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccines. We also ask that you notify us prior to grooming if your pet has been anywhere with other dogs in the last 2 weeks (boarding, daycare, dog park, etc.) or if they are having any cold/flu type symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, runny nose/eyes. We want all our canine friends to stay happy and healthy please let us know if you have any questions! Thank you all so much!
