CG is a titled BLM mustang mare. She is approx. 4 years old. She has been with me for a year. I have ended up not having the time it takes to train her. She does need some topline and hind quarter built back. She stands approx. 15 hands tall. CG does have frostbit ear tips. She does look like she has done of the drafty type mustang and is starting to fill out to be wider now.

This girl is considered semi tame. She leads very well, she has had a tiny bit of ground work done. She has had a saddle on at one point. Feed catches her, but it does take time sometimes to get a halter on her.

I do have her BLM title.

Gallant has ONE gear, and that is granny low🤣 he's not been the easiest boy to catch but is slowly warming up. Patience and feed have helped that. His feet will be getting trimmed as soon as we can get the farrier out.

🕊Fly high beautiful boy😭💔🕊

Captain had a lot going on internally. The bacterial infection was bad. We got him semi over that, only to find out that it wasn't kidney failure. He had congestive heart failure. There was absolutely nothing that could be done for him.

We could tell he was not getting better, and seemed to start feeling worse. And just doing worse in general. So we took him a day early and got to the vet before they opened.Captain went down in the trailer on the way to the vet. Upon arriving, the vet pulled blood work. And we kept him company and comfy, and just let him rest. When we heard the news, we knew what this boy needed. And that was to make the final best decision he could be gave. And that was to cross the rainbow bridge peacefully.

It absolutely broke our hearts. We hate loosing them, but knowing there was no other option. It was a needed decision.

Captain went knowing what love was. What having a full belly again felt like. Captain was an old soul, who nickered at you when you brought his breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He was excited to see people, even though people are the ones who failed him. Captain crossed that rainbow bridge with a half of a missing tail. Because we all know, all loved horses get to that big pasture in the sky with half their tail missing🩷🕊

Captains remaining bills do need to be covered, and we are asking for help with that. The leftover amount from his last visit was 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣, and the blood work and euthanasia costs added up to 3️⃣2️⃣4️⃣.

Look at the weight these two boys have put on! Buddy for weight because of issues but is putting it on steadily. Sawyer, though, is packing on the pounds! We are so happy to see these two thriving!🩷

🚨Vet Visit Update🚨
We didn't get any of the answers we were hoping for, for either one of these beautiful boys.

Wyatts outlook is the better of the two. He is forever a pasture pet. He has arthritis in that knee of his. He was used hard and thrown away.

Captain on the other hand, has a severe bacterial infection. Possibly/hopefully causing the Stocking up in his legs. BUT the vet is heavily leaning more towards liver or kidney failure. We will be going back next Thursday, 7/3, to run more detailed blood work. If it comes back as any sort of organ failure, this beautiful boy will be laid to rest. We aren't going to make him fight and fight. Until we get more answers, he'll be treated like a king🩷

The remaining bill for today's vet work is 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣. Next week's bill will be 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ for the blood work and f***l. If he crosses that rainbow bridge Thursday, we will have a fee to cover for that.

❌️🆘️🚨URGENT VET FEES🚨🆘️❌️

Okay everyone, this is the part where all rescues struggle. And need your help. We cannot continue to take in and care for these animals without your help.

First in our list of immediate vet care is Captain. We spoke to the vet today, he is thinking he may have some sort of heart, liver, kidney issue going on. He will be getting blood work pulled, we are taking him FIRST THING IN THE MORNING (6/26) we honestly do not know how much this is going to cost. Especially if meds are needed.

Second on the list for immediate vet care is Wyatt. We have tried home remedies for wyatts knee but nothing has helped. And we know it is hurting him. He will be riding with captain to the vet to have his knee xrayed. The first xray is 80. Any additional after that is 50 each. We have to see what is going on inside that knee.

Third, Fourth, and Fifth is Gallant, Rose, and Teddy. These 3 sweethearts are in need of farrier work. These 3 will just be trims. Those are 45 appeice.

To start just in morning to make sure we are covered, we need to raise 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ this will help us get started.

Scooter made it here safe and sound! He a little watchy of people at the moment. But who can blame him for what he's been through?

He has last some weight since being in there, but should put it back on quick.

He did calm right down once we got home. Stood like a gentleman to be hosed down because of how hot it was. I know I was hot and he had to be in that trailer.

He's going to make someone an amazing horse!

Look at this beautiful boy, Leo! He was dropped off to us by his wonderful owner who only wants best for him. She didn't want to send him through an auction for him to end up in a kill pen so she sent him to us. He is a finished heading and heeling horse and was lightly started on the barrel pattern. But his previous owners before her, did not take care of him. And used him HARD and didnt take care of him lile they should. Causing him to become navicular in one foot and does need hock injections. Along with being shod and padded to keep him sound to ride. This boy is absolutely beautiful. We will be putting shoes with pads as well as working on getting him injections. This boy will need maintenence but would be a perfect confidence builder for your rodeo kiddo. He will need regular and yearly maintence and he will be looking for a soft landing.

We have been so busy we forgot to do a landing post for Teddy and Rose! Teddy was sick arriving but has slowly gotten better. He is absolutely enjoying the attention and food that comes with it. Rose doesn't even care about the food. She just wants all the love that you can give her. Her and Teddy seem to have bonded very close in the pen and have stuck by each other like glue. These babies deserve the best!
