Friday (NO DOCTOR!!) 7:30am-1pm The veterinarians are Dr. Ginger Williams and Dr. Jerri Anne Hill.

Central Animal Hospital is a private small animal practice located in Eden, NC. We are a walk-in only veterinary hospital. We see dogs, cats and limited small exotic mammals.

Please note the office will be CLOSED 8/23-9/1 for staff vacation. The office will be open for normal hours today and Dr. Williams will be seeing patients today. Tomorrow the office will be open from 7:30-1 for any record requests or medication refills.

Feral cat populations are a concern in Rockingham County, as they are in many other areas in North Carolina. While it is difficult to pinpoint precise numbers, according to estimates from the Humane Society of the United States, the population of feral cats in the US ranges from 50 to 70 million.

Feral cat programs, particularly Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, are crucial for managing feral cat populations humanely and effectively. These programs offer numerous benefits, including stabilizing cat populations, reducing nuisance behaviors, and improving the overall health of the cats. They also provide cost savings for municipalities and address public health concerns related to disease transmission.

We are excited to announce that we are officially starting our Feral Feline Program on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025.

We are now accepting appointment requests online for this program only.

IMPORTANT:
Currently, we are only taking feral feline program appointments. We will announce when we are going to be taking full spay/neuter service appointments, wellness appointments, and dental appointments at another date.
