Meet Juniper, a stunning 8-year-old 15.3 h Hanoverian mare who perfectly blends elegance, athleticism, and heart. Bred from exceptional bloodlines, Juniper is as beautiful to ride as she is to look at. An incredible opportunity for a rider seeking a true partner. In her 4-year old Hanoverian keuring she scored premium.
On the ground, Juniper is a joy, she is sweet, affectionate, and easy to handle. Under saddle, she’s wonderfully elastic through her movement, soft and steady in the contact, and always eager to please. She gives her best every ride and has the talent to excel in dressage, jumping, or eventing. She truly could go in any direction.
Juniper is sired by the legendary Royal Prince (Rohdiamant x Prince Thatch xx), who was Reserve Champion of both his 30-day and 70-day Performance Tests, earning perfect 10s for ride-ability and walk, and 9s for trot, canter, and willingness to work. As a five-year-old, he won the East Coast Selection Trials for the World Championships for Young Horses with a record-breaking 9.82 and went on to place fourth in the world. The highest American finish at the time. Royal Prince went on to be named USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year three consecutive years, and his offspring are known for their refinement, elegance, and exceptional ride-ability.
Juniper’s dam, Wild Lady, was imported from Holland as a 3-year-old and became the #1 ranked 4-year-old jumper in the U.S. before an injury led to her early retirement. Wild Lady has since become a foundation mare in our breeding program, passing on her athleticism, scope, and class. All of which Juniper carries proudly.
While Juniper is kind and willing, she does best with a confident intermediate amateur or above who can continue to develop her potential. She is not a beginner’s horse, but she is an incredibly rewarding partner for a thoughtful, balanced rider.
