Tails of Two Bulldogs

We had such a fun day today at Canterbury Downs for the Running of the Bulldogs. A huge "thank you" to our dear friends and family who came out to cheer Odin on. We had such a great turnout! A special shout out to the people at Canterbury Downs for doing such a wonderful job with the event and for taking such great care of the dogs and their owners. I was once again reminded of why we love the English Bulldog breed. There were 40 English Bulldogs. They are so loving, easy-going and great with children. There were so many people. Children came all day long to pet the dogs and the dogs just loved every minute of it! I included photos below if you are interested in seeing more.

Odin has been busy training for the Running of the Bulldogs race at Canterbury Downs on Monday. We received some details that I just wanted to pass along. He will be in Heat #2 and it looks like Fast Eddie and Pork Chop might be his biggest competition :). He will be racing at approximately 1:30. The top 3 dogs in each heat will advance to the Championship race which will run after Horse Race 8. This is Canterbury Downs way of kicking off the racing season and is a fun family-oriented day. It is official! I have been selected to compete for the title of "Top Dog" in the Running of the Bulldogs at Canterbury Downs on Memorial Day. I hope you can come, place your bets, cheer me on and join in the fun! This event kicks off the season for Canterbury Downs horse racing. Let the training begin (did I say that?).
