Happy Hounds Dog Training Our goal is to help dogs and their families learn to live happily together! can get in the way.

At Happy Hounds we believe that most people bring a dog home to have a companion... but, sometimes the day to day issues of housebreaking, chewing, barking, digging, etc. Many times that cute puppy turns into more of a handful than you bargained for and ends up in the backyard or given away. We can teach you how to turn your problem pup into the companion you'd hoped for. With positive training and simple management techniques, you'll be surprised at how quickly your dog learns how to behave.

UPDATE! Prince is home! Thank you all for caring. I don't have any details yet, but just found out he's back home with his Dad.

Everyone, please share! My friend's Sheltie got out today and hasn't come back. He is a very special dog and very loved. Please see below. If anyone sees Prince, they can contact me. Thanks!

Lost Dog, Prince wandered off around 3:30PM today. In Piper's Meadow subdivision (SE Houston, Webster area). please look for him. Near Lost Rock Dr. Reward offered. He is the last living reminder of my wife. Please help.

Last Sunday I was on Rescue Magazine's radio show again. I did a segment on self control training and how to help your dog feel more comfortable at the vet. Since this is something I've helped many people with I thought I'd share the Facebook live video here. My dog, Andre, was with me so I was able to demonstrate some of what we were discussing (he was such a good boy :) ) . Since it was live, it shows before the show and during commercials. The actual show starts at about 2 1/2 minutes into the video.

Altuve and I had a blast dancing to the Altuve Polka! Not our normal type of routine, but so much fun. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful time at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows! Hope you all had a chance to go last weekend. My boy, Altuve, and I were part of a trio act. We performed to the song The Greatest Show. I hope to have a video to share soon! In the meantime, here are a few pictures.

We had so much fun yesterday performing trick shows at our little town's Spring Fest! I think the trick people liked best was the dogs taking tips 😀. The money raised was donated to our local dog shelter.
