I have always loved animals and have been a pet owner since I was a small child. I have always been the one to take in every stray that showed up at my home and pick up every stray or lost animal I would see. I have picked up dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and even a llama once. I have found owners of lost animals and seen the beautiful reunion of ones that I have been able to get back home. I try to educate pet owners on how to keep their pets with them and to be there for those animals that just need some love and care. I will rescue those animals which have been neglected or abused and rehabilitate them. If you are interested in helping in any way please contact me via email or private message. This little dude is still
Looking for his forever home.
Kito is the sweetest little pup weighing at just 14 and 1 year old.
Kito was neutered as a puppy. He is up to date on everything, and on monthly prevention.
Kito loves to play with anything. He loves to play ball and bring you toys and leaves. He is crate trained and good with other dogs and cats as well as kids.

Woo Hoo!! I got some of my Amazon wish list items!
Huge Thank you to Holly and Robert Wyatt for the dog collars we needed and another Huge Thank you to Janet Roberts for the Dog door replacement flaps we needed. Now we can open the dog doors without the heat and air leaving the building.

He was tied to a fence, chest-deep in floodwater. 🌀

On October 9, 2024, as Hurricane Milton bore down on Florida, a state trooper driving along I-75 near Tampa spotted a bull terrier tethered to a fence. The water was rising around him and he couldn’t get free.

The trooper waded in and cut him loose. The dog was named Trooper, after the officer who saved him, and was later adopted by a family in Parkland. 🐕

His rescue changed Florida law. Since October 2025, tying up and abandoning a dog outdoors during a declared disaster or evacuation is a felony in Florida, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Every Florida county is required to open a pet-friendly shelter when it’s activated. There’s no need to leave anyone behind. 🏠

We are helping make these discounted appointments possible, but all appointments must be booked directly through Alabama Animal Alliance using the phone number listed on the flyer.

• This clinic specializes in HQHVSN (High Quality, High Volume Spay & Neuter), so its requirements may differ from those of your regular veterinary clinic.
• Please don't rely on eligibility answers from comments or other pet owners. Requirements can vary, and the clinic staff will provide the most accurate information.

These deeply discounted appointments are NOT funded by a grant. The funding comes directly from the budget designated for the medical care of our shelter animals.

We are choosing to invest some of those resources back into our community to help prevent unwanted litters before they ever enter our shelter doors. Because these funds are also needed to care for the animals already in our custody, we can only offer this opportunity a few times throughout the year.

We kindly ask everyone to be respectful and understanding if appointments are already full.

🐾 Spaying and neutering is one of the most effective ways we can prevent unwanted litters and help reduce the number of animals entering our shelters. It is the most effective way to prevent euthanasia from overcrowding in shelters!

Sweet Lady Jane tells us GoodBye

A sad end to the day as we said goodbye to this sweet girl
Lady Jane has been with us off and on since May 2019. She developed pneumonia two weeks ago and spent the last 10 days in isolation boarding with medication at our vets office. Unfortunately her breathing continued to declined and her coughing and breathing continued to worsen as it progressed. Along with a few other things lady was ready to go as she lived a very long life of happy tails and made many friends along the way. She now is running free with so many others.
We love you Lady Jane.

We enjoyed eating…. I mean passing out candy yesterday. We love being here and can’t wait for our next visit.
