Reagan Owen had a fun outing at the DLSC show at The Riding Centre today! She and her trusty friend, Spartan scored a 64.06 to earn second place in Intro A!! Congratulations Reagan! We are very proud of you!!!

Ari is an amazing student, very disciplined in her riding, and growing into a wonderful young lady. I am so proud of her accomplishments! USDF Pony Cup was her first recognized show.

The Cardinal Hill Farm group had a wonderful outing at the DLSC show at Serenity valley farm!!! For Reagan riding Spartan, this was her very first show and she did an excellent job,!
Ari rode her two horses, Aurora and Bear for absolutely amazing results! This kid is becoming a seasoned competitor. Her scores were outstanding, winning each class!!
Also back in the ring after a hiatus for college is Matt Luc. He rode Diminggo in training one for an excellent score of 66.7 earning second place!!!
Diminggo gets special recognition after his self-guided romp around the Serenity Valley Farm field....... Thank you Carolyn Geise for convincing him it was better to have a halter and human. No horses, humans or fences were harmed during his romp!

Our first time competing at the National Dressage Pony Cup!! Wow! What an experience. I think I got my steps in for the rest of the year!

WD 40, aka Willie, was a very good boy. He had been having lots of emotional tension when I take him to shows, and he was surprisingly good! We had a few silly mistakes that kept us out of the placings, but I am super happy with his progress. Photo credit: June Schull.

My student, Ari, showed Intro Level and Equitation on two horses that she trains herself! This was her first USDF recognized show. She was Reserve Champion Intro Level small horse with Bear (the black horse) and Fifth in Equitation Pony with Aurora. I am so happy for Ari. My wonderful student, Ari showed three horses and rode five tests today at the DLSC show hosted by Hilltop Equestrian. I could not be prouder of this dedicated, motivated and ambitious young rider!! She did a great job! Congratulations Ari!!

Huge shout-out to Ari Collins!! She showed two horses yesterday at the DLSC Hilltop Equestrian show yesterday. Ari rode intro B, intro C, Training one and WDAA intro one. She earned excellent scores. This kid works hard and it shows. Looking forward to National Dressage Pony Cup in July! Well done Ari!!

I had the opportunity to attend the USDF Instructor Trainer Seminars over the past several months. There are three seminars: Riding, Teaching and Lunging --lunging horses and teaching riders on the lunge.

I can't say enough about this program! It stretches you, challenges you and helps you become better in so many ways. These seminars are open to anyone who wants to learn and grow. You may also move forward to assessment and testing to become a USDF Certified Instructor.
I'm especially grateful to The Dressage Foundation for awarding me a grant, which helped immensely in covering the costs.

Diminggo and I were blessed to ride with Michelle Gibson June 2-3! I can't say enough about how informative and encouraging this clinic was. And hard work-in the best sense. Thank you to Karri McFadden,l and Woods Edge Farm for hosting!!

The Cardinal Hill Farm students had a wonderful outing at The Riding Center yesterday. This show was the first dressage show for the Dayton Local Circuit.

Shout out and congratulations to Joanne Hyland and Axel for winning first place in Training Level test 1-first ever show off the farm! We all know how nerve wracking that can be.
And! Ari Collins riding Aurora Borealis was second in Intro C and third in Training Level test 1 with scores in the mid 60s!!
Our newest student is Kaycee Russell and she rode Spartan in training 1 and 2 placing fourth each time with scores in the mid 60s!! Kaycee has just started riding Spartan and did a wonderful job. Welcome to the team, Kaycee!
