It's astounding the way rumors grow and spread. As I said, I sprained my ankle, no it's not broken. I took a couple days, that happened to be a weekend, of foot up answering phone calls. I've been back to work and when I have my boots on I don't even limp. It's a little more precarious without the boot support, but I'm working. Thanks for all the good wishes!

Sorry to all my people here. I've slowed down a little bit this week, I sprained my ankle on a house call, but I'm starting to be able to walk ok. I haven't said anything, and I'm answering the phone, but now you're updated.

Very sad news I received last night. Dr Stu Nelson, Jr, head veterinarian for the Iditarod, died unexpectedly this week. He was an amazing man and mentor and will be sorely missed.

The acupuncture conference was in Edinburgh, Scotland. Lots of information thrown at me that I still have to sift through, and some spare time exploring the city.

I'm back from the Iditarod, and will be staying home for a while. It was consistently cold this year, which the dogs loved, mostly between ten and thirty below. I added the picture of me with my hand up to answer the question I was frequently asked, "Did they have enough snow this year?" Yes, yes they did.
