It’s COLD!

If you’re coming by for eggs and don’t find them at the farm stand, it’s not because the ladies stopped working, but it is because they freeze and crack in the stand. And since eggs are now priced roughly the same as gold, we don’t want to see any go to waste.

Message Amber Paulsen directly if you need eggs and we will make sure we get them to you somehow.

We have arugula, orach, parsley, sunflowers, nasturtiums and purple poppies (I think). All local seeds
Always lots and lots and lots of eggs ($7 doz)
Lilacs are so pretty right now I just had to share.

Farm Stand Customers-

I happened to be out at the Farm Stand today and someone came by and pulled into the driveway. Their question was:

“I wanted some eggs, but only have $5. Will you have eggs tomorrow?”

First answer is yes… we should have eggs every day - provided the work force is participating.

Second: Our Eggcell Accounting System works like this:

-If you need eggs/produce, but don’t have any money, please take what you need. No one in our community should go without. (The Community Plan)

-If you only have $5, please take what you need. We hope you come back and you can settle up any difference whenever. (The OI IOU plan)

-If you only have a $10 and are willing, leave the $10 and then YOU get to remember that you have a credit. ( The OI WeOU plan)

You never have to leave us a note regarding which plan you’re following, although we we do love reading them!

Hey Farmstand Customers:

After what has been a cold, dark winter, the employees of Horse Tale Farm are firing back up - and apparently making up for lost time.

Fresh eggs at the Farmstand just about every day!

And to fully confirm that spring is on the way, there’s a rumor that the salad greens are already sprouting in the greenhouse!
