🌡️☀️ Heat Wave Alert! Keep Your Pets Safe! 🐶🐱

With temps soaring this week, it’s crucial to keep your furry friends cool and watch for signs of heat stroke. Pets can overheat quickly—especially short nosed breeds (like pugs & bulldogs), seniors, and those with thick coats.

🚨 Watch for these signs of heat stroke:

Excessive panting or drooling
Weakness or lethargy
Vomiting or collapse
Bright red or pale gums

✅ Tips to keep them cool:

-Provide plenty of fresh, cool water
-Keep walks short & avoid hot pavement
-Never leave pets in a parked car
-Use fans, cooling mats, or frozen treats

During the cold weather, outdoor cats and kittens will seek shelter in your vehicle for warmth.
❄️ 🐈🐈 ❄️ Before starting your car, bang on the hood and honk the horn. This gives the cats & kittens a chance to exit before you start the engine. Also, check your wheel wells for cats hiding.
