Our current mission is to build a safe, patient, and happy home for senior, abused, and/or overlooked dogs. Our sanctuary will provide a long-term and permanent living situation for the most vulnerable dogs in local shelters.

😍 just a typical day in the Behavior office for Reeses! Lots of enrichment, love, and extra help eating her breakfast. The kennel is stressful for this poor girl sometimes making it hard for her to eat.

Reeses is an almost two year old shepherd mix that is the perfect medium size. She loves to love and be loved, and needs out of the shelter ASAP! She is getting very stressed in the shelter environment and could really use a forever home to let her true colors shine. She has been at Animal Welfare Association since March. ☹️

It’s that time of year again— Poopy Doo is Coming to Town! 🎅🏼💰

🚨Our 2nd annual 50/50 fundraiser is officially up and running. We are able to start selling tickets a bit earlier this year! What’s better than having the chance to win some cash right before the holidays?! 🚨

Tickets are $5 a piece. The jackpot is already at $125 with plenty of time to go! 🤑
