We're proud to announce that Jessie Burgess, LVT has been certified as a Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist (CCAT). The CCAT credential is recognized as a premier certification in canine rehabilitation training. To complete this certification, Jessie had to complete rigorous hands-on coursework, three case studies, a written exam and a practicum portion with case presentation.

Jessie is interested in obtaining her North Carolina State University CSCC --a certified canine strength and conditioning coach certificate as she has become this region's go-to rehabilitation technician for sporting dogs.

Jessie has an experienced and evidence based understanding working with sporting injuries and enhancing performance in sporting and working dogs. She has a passion and special interest in developing support programs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind (GEB) to support appropriate conditioning for and education of handlers and trainers in the program.

We're so proud of her accomplishments and of the great services she offers our patients at CARE!

🎉CARE would like to congratulate Steinway on advancing to the next stage of his training as a guide dog for someone with visual impairment.🦮 Having been raised by Jessie as her ninth Guiding Eyes for the Blind puppy, Steinway is well-prepared for this new challenge. We offer our best wishes for his continued progress and success. We love you buddy!🎉
