As we all know, bullying is a major problem. It has no boundaries - mentally, physically or geographically! No matter your experiences, we all know someone that has either been bullied or been the victim of a bully - or maybe you were the bully...
How can we fix it, if we don’t address it? Prevention starts with us!
Today, we are seeing more with words wielded as weapons for defamation, online trolling, and even different forms of manipulative bullying through hazing.
This goes beyond school-aged children. It’s on a collegiate level, in the workplace, in the church, your local women’s group, or it could be amongst your group of friends.
Bullying remains largely understated and unaddressed. Turning a blind eye only fortifies a woman’s self-censorship and erodes their self-esteem. We must do better. It’s our responsibility.
So today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. invites you to wear your orange, and join us in rallying for and addressing bullying to draw attention to this issue within your own communities. Together we can make a change - because everyone has a role to play in bullying prevention!
