The nicest girl you’ll ever meet: Sissy is a 1-2 your old mix of a lot of cute things. She has a fantastic personality and loves dogs and cats both. Sissy have a great playful side but also knows how to get her snuggles in. We consider her to be an easy peasy dog, turm-key dog so to speak. Sissy is about 55 lbs and does great with kids too! She loves to get and give hugs. If you need your own cuddly companion that is crate trained and housebroken, she is ready to move in!

Where are our big breed dog fans?! This handsome hunk is Sam! Sam is dog and cat friendly and loves to be told he is “so handsome.” A happy-go-lucky boy, he is full of smiles and tail wags. Sam is 2ish and weighs in at 85 lbs. He is a tad strong on a leash but we are working on that. Sam keeps his crate clean. He will come with his crate that is a bit more secure for a dog his size. Sam likes cae rides, hikes, and time spent with his humans. He gets fixed on Monday and will be ready to start interviewing his new people super soon! We just adore him!

Introducing Doja! This beautiful girl is dog friendly and unfortunate victim of a bad crop job. Doja has already bell trained herself ans is housebroken and kennel trained. She does pretty well on a leash too. Her foster mom ia working on her gaining weight! Doja is 1-2 years old and the sweetest girl!

**Meet Whitley!**

Whitley is a total sweetheart with a mystery mix of breeds and a whole lot of love to give. She’s expected to be around 40–50 pounds once fully grown.

Whitley is doing great with potty training and keeps her kennel clean. She’s fantastic with kids and gets along well with other dogs. In fact, she’d thrive in a home with a canine buddy to play with!

Her fur? Quite possibly the softest you’ve ever felt. Her favorite place is right at your feet, soaking up your presence and doling out affection like it’s her full-time job. Whitley is happiest when she’s close to her people and loves both giving and receiving attention.

Nova is a fun-loving, playful, and affectionate pup with energy to spare! 🎾🐕 This 1-year-old pittie mix is always up for a game of fetch or zooming around the yard. She’s great with kids and gets along well with other dogs (cats unknown).

We have a pair of well loved maltese in the house! Misty, pictured with her kid, loves kids and cats! She is a tad robust but with proper weight management will get back to proper weight. She is 7 and an affectionate love

Major loves EVERYONE. He is dog, cat, and child friendly. Major is robust and will need to lose weight. He does like to be outside snd play so that will help greatly! Marvin loves belly rubs too! He is also 7.

Marvin and Misty are both foster to adopt eligible. They are nice dogs looking for a family each to call their own.

This is Louis. He is a fluffy 10-week old pittie mix puppy. Louis is so soft and snuggly. He loves his people and just wants to be cuddled. He plays well with his siblings but loves one-on-one time and being carried like a baby. Louis is approximately 8lbs. He is the biggest of his siblings, but will likely be around 40 lbs full grown.

Louis likes other dogs, cats, and kids. He gets carried around like royalty in his foster home. You cannot convince him he isn't a prince. 👑

Louis is crate trained and working diligently on becoming housebroken. He receives his third round of boosters on Wednesday and is foster to adopt eligible through Pet Pack Rescue Initiative.

Louis is looking for a home that is interested in sweet snuggles, endless kisses, and lifelong love. Louis promises to provide the same.

He will be attending the outreach event at Java Café on Saturday, April 26th. Don't wait to get your app in or someone might steal all Louis's kisses from you!

Puppy update! The gem/jewels litter lost two but the remaining four are doing fantastic! At 4 weeks old, the largest is 5 lbs and the smallest is under 3! They are 4.5 weeks old and will make their debut on 6.1.25 doodlekinsbarkery in Morton. The puppies will be joined by some of their friends! Come see us 1-2! Get your puppy snuggles!

Help us write happy tails for Penny, Carlotta, Maple, Teddy, and Ansel! The average cost of adoption is $250-$450 for our adoption fee. The average cost to get a dog fixed, vetted, treat intestinal parasites, microchip, and provide supplies for dogs while in our care is over $600. That is for a healthy dog with no medical costs! Catapillar employees can help us to offset the cost if they sponsor our pets by donating a minimum of $25 to us and then turning it into caterpillar foundation! Cat match for current employees is 10:1 this week until the matching contribution is met!

we know there are a ton of worthwhile causes and we are appreciative of the foundation for donating money back to any organization. That is lucky enough to get donations from their supporters. We hope that you will consider a small donation to this little rescue as we continue to grow! See our earlier post and Velma’s successful adoption after spending many months with us. She was our $5000 dog by the time she had cherry eye surgery, ACL repair, vetting, and other medical costs covered.

we have some very exciting news to share! Long time pack, member, Velma was adopted over the weekend! Our board treasurer, Grace, took her on a date and Grace’s dad fell in love! Velma is the perfect addition to their family. She is now in her forever home.

Rottweiler peeps, where you at?! Cece is an adorable 1 year old rottie that is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. She loves to play and is super affectionate. Cece is active, playful, and fun! She will thrive in a family that can match her energy and is social and engaging. At 45 lbs, she is full grown! Cece is adoptable now!

Happy Easter from Dusty! this six month old kind of fluffy dog already weighs over 50 pounds at six months old. If you are a big dog lover, he is the one for you.Dusty is dog friendly, and seems to like kids, but he is a big dog so you need to be familiar with that if you have children. He keeps his crate clean and is housebroken. Dusty is eligible for a foster to adopt family within one hour of Washington, Illinois, so he can finish up his vetting.

Meet Winslow, our adorable & sweet foster doggie. He is a 2-3 year old Australian Shepherd that is ready for his furever home. He is dog and cat friendly, can take a little while to warm up to other dogs, but does great once he’s used to them. He is a little timid at times in new places and around new people. He loves to run and play, but loves to snuggle too. He is a very loveable dog and he has a great smile. He is adoptable thru Pet Pack Rescue Initiative.
