Wolf is still looking for his forever home!

Wolfgang is a 4yr old Husky who came to our shelter as a stray. When Wolfgang arrived, he was under socialized, hand-shy and untrusting of people. After many months of consistent behavioral modification, we are proud to say that Wolfgang has made great strides in the right direction and we believe he is ready to find his forever home. “Wolfie” (as his shelter family likes to call him) is happiest when he is outside on a walk or running around with his best dog friends. Upon evaluation, Wolfgang displayed some guarding issues with food and high value items. Although a common behavior for many dogs, this will require an experienced family to manage. Wolfgang would do best in a home with older children, a dog his size or larger and no cats. Wolfgang will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before leaving our shelter.

Meet Zoey! Zoey is a 1yr Pitbull mix who came to our shelter as a stray. Zoey is an active, athletic pup who loves nothing more than running and playing with her dog friends at the shelter! She is looking for a home with owners experienced with high energy dogs and would do great with a playmate of similar size and play-style. Zoey has passed her behavioral assessment, has no food or toy guarding issues and she would do best in a home with children 12+. She loves meeting and being around people but would benefit from some simple leash training to harness her enthusiasm. Zoey will be spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before leaving our shelter. She can't wait to meet you!

Meet Enzo! Enzo is an 8yr old Shepherd mix who came to our shelter as a stray. When he first arrived, he was understandably stressed and uncomfortable in his new surroundings. After a few weeks of showing him love and support, Enzo's true personality started to shine through. Although still nervous and unsure at times, he has become more trusting and even has bonded strongly to several employees of our team. Enzo has passed his behavioral assessment and has no food or toy guarding issues. He has also proved to be extremely housebroken and always keeps a clean kennel! Enzo has shown he will tolerate other dogs with similar energy level, however, we believe he would do best as an only pet. We are looking for an understanding family with older children, in a lower traffic home where Enzo can continue to decompress and transition into his new life. Enzo will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before leaving our shelter.

Meet Dempsey! Dempsey is a 2yr old, 70lb Pitbull mix who came to our shelter as a stray. Dempsey enjoys spending time around people, wagging his tail and greeting each individual person in a room. It is evident from his pristine kennel, Dempsey was bonded to a family and deserves to have this once again in his life. He enjoys being outside, rolling in the grass or playing with an appropriate dog friend with the same gentle playstyle. During his behavioral assessment, Dempsey did display some high value food and toy guarding which will need to be managed in his new home. He would do best in an experienced household with children 16+. Dempsey will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before leaving the shelter!

Meet Scooter! He is a 4yr old Chihuahua mix, weighing about 15lbs, who came to our shelter after his owner could no longer care for him. Scooter is a devoted and intelligent pup looking for a patient and understanding forever home! He will be guarded and unsure at first, but in time he will be an affectionate, loving companion. Some of Scooter's favorite things are walks, being outside and chasing a tennis ball! He has displayed some guarding issues/kennel frustration during his behavioral assessment and will require an owner who will provide him with the guidance and consistency he needs to succeed. Due to his anxiety in his kennel, Scooter has sadly been overlooked by potential adopters. Scooter would do well in an experienced, low traffic all adult home. If you think you may be a match for him, please contact us about setting up a one on one visit! Scooter will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before leaving our shelter.
