Parsley came to us as a mom and is more than ready for her moment to shine. Parsley is the definition of people friendly. Chatty and social, she is a character that is difficult to ignore as she instantly brightens up a room. Parsley is true to her coloring, as a long haired tuxedo she’s definitely dominant and bossy but has gained the right after raising two babies and being abandoned by her owner. Parsley will always keep you entertained, smiling and your lap warm. True bestie material!

Kitten season hit us rough with a lot fragile kittens. Our staff spends every hour on the hour cleaning and hyper-fixating on our kittens that need so much of our energy.

This is Submarine. His sisters Radar and Sonar passed away suddenly after a week of supportive care. We unfortunately never get the pleasure of knowing why which leaves us devastated, but more than anything we feel sadness for Submarine who is all alone. He hit a rough patch but has been thriving this past week which is keeping the staff’s spirits up.

7 years and his whole life in the shelter system. Sam has became such an integral part of the other shelter cats lives as he was the boyfriend to every cat and even more so to the staff who have been routing for this day for so long. Sam is the most gentle natured, pure hearted cat we know and he deserved this moment!

Tank’s eyes say everything you need to know. Tank is a sad boy who isn’t flourishing in the shelter environment. He is the definition of a mommas boy and loves being babied. The center of attention is where he shines. He waits patiently for someone to notice that he’s such a special character that you’re not going to find anywhere else.

Honey bun came to us through our TNR program. He made it very evident that he was once someone’s pet; life in a shelter was detrimental to his heart. Honey flourished in his foster home which just solidified what he needed most which was a stable forever home. Honey bun left this weekend, and we are SO grateful 🍯

It’s fun to watch how cats personalities change from isolation to communal room settings. Every day has been so different for April. When we first met her, we thought what a gentle girl. As time went on, she reminded us that she’s a calico!

April is bold and and bright. Her wants and needs will not be ignored. This spunky firecracker will always keep you on your toes and laughing. April’s dominant antics are part of her calico ways but also a product of her environment. April thrives on being spoiled and sharing attention in the shelter setting isn’t for her.

Your new best friend and the total package. Seahorse is everything you could hope and dream for in a cat. He’s absolutely perfect. This lover boy is happiest being surrounded by his people. Hugs and kisses all day is probably the most he’ll expect from you. Seahorse’s gentle nature makes him such a candidate for most environments. Laid back and easy going, Seahorse is the easiest sell! This house cat is sooo sad in the shelter environment and needs to get back into a home asap!
