The Food Security and Farm Protection Act is a dangerous bill that was just introduced in the U.S. Senate. Despite its new name, this bill is identical to the dangerous Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act from last Congress. Please urge your federal lawmakers to oppose this bill.

Our Journey So Far:
Soup For Souls 🥣💙
"We have some incredible updates to share! Thanks to your overwhelming support.
Where your donations went:
Galesburg & Davenport: We successfully delivered freeze-dried soup and fresh water to those experiencing homelessness in our local neighborhoods.
Going the Extra Mile: We even reached as far as Albuquerque, New Mexico, where our freeze-dried soups were distributed to those in need! 🚚✨
We are beyond grateful to this community for providing exactly what we need to keep these distributions going. You are the reason this is possiable.
🌱 Community Resources & Needs:
Free Beans Available: One of our 'Peaceful Givers' just donated a large bag of beans! If you or someone you know is in need of these, please contact us directly, and we will ensure they get to you.
Free Seeds: You can currently find a seed box at The Junk Drawer (74 N Chambers St, Galesburg). Keep an eye out for more to come!
Thank you for being part of our 'Peaceful Giver' family. Together, we are making a real difference. 🤝❤️

Friendly reminder..... please be sure to your dates, on the back of your seed package, so you dont start you plants to early. We generally start peppers late February. They will need translated to a larger pot before they can go outside. Tomatoes, we plants 2nd week of March. Just wanted to share some info. I am excited to get back to growing and seeing your plants. If we spin and work together we can change our broken food system.

These are the varieties of potted Pawpaw and American Persimmon I'll have available in May of 2026 for $25 each. Follow my page to be kept informed when sales begin and be sure to share this post with any friends you know might be interested and invite them to follow my page.

These were all grafted in the Spring of 2025 and I only make them available a year after grafting. I'm located in Rock Island, Illinois and I do not ship plants or sell scions and all sales are in person. There is no reason to blow up my messenger.

I should also have the Honeywood variety of Juneberry seedlings for $10 and hybrid hazelnut seedlings 5 for $35.

Spacing:
Pawpaw 8'
Persimmon 12'
Honeywood Juneberry 6'
Hybrid Hazelnut 4'-8'

It will take about four years to see fruits, nuts, and berries. Two pawpaw trees are required for pollination to get fruit. Persimmon and Juneberry are self fertile so you only need one plant to have fruit. Hybrid hazelnuts you need five plants to ensure good pollination and I sell them in sets of five.
