🐾 FUN FACT FRIDAY! 🐾

Ever wonder why your dog does that little spin-spin-spin before finally settling down? 🌀🐶

There are actually a few reasons!

🌿 It’s an old instinct. Wild dogs would circle an area before lying down to make sure it was safe and comfortable.

🛏️ They’re making their spot comfy. That little circling routine may have helped flatten grass, leaves, or other surfaces before settling in.

👀 It can be a quick safety check. Dogs may naturally look around their surroundings before relaxing.

And sometimes… they’re just being dogs. 😂🐾

So the next time your pup does three circles, a little sniff, and then dramatically flops down…

Just know they’re following a routine that goes way, way back! 💕

We’re always looking for fun and meaningful ways to show our appreciation for the wonderful families who trust Lucky Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting with their beloved pets. ❤️

So, we’re excited to try something new!

🐾✨ Complimentary Pet Portraits! ✨🐾

Cailee, who helps me with Lucky Paws visits and is currently studying photography, film, AV and videography, has been having so much fun capturing beautiful photos of our Lucky Paws pets. 📸

We thought, why not turn that into something special for our clients?

During your pet’s regularly scheduled Lucky Paws visit, Cailee will bring her camera along and capture a variety of fun, natural moments — whether your pet is playing, exploring, enjoying enrichment, relaxing, or simply showing off their personality. 🥰

And we want to give you something you can actually hold onto and display, not just another photo sitting in your phone!

🖼️ Each participating Lucky Paws family will receive ONE complimentary glossy 8×10 portrait of their pet! ❤️

Cailee will select a favorite portrait from the visit, have it professionally printed, and we’ll personally give it to you as a special gift from Lucky Paws.

🎥 And there’s more!

As Cailee continues developing her photography, film and videography skills, she’ll also be capturing some fun video moments during our visits. We’re hoping to eventually put together some Lucky Paws promotional videos featuring the wonderful pets we get to care for every day!

Of course, we will always ask for your permission before using your pet’s photos or videos for Lucky Paws social media or promotional purposes. ❤️

This is simply our way of saying thank you for allowing us to be part of your pets’ lives.

🐾📸 THE LUCKY PAWS PHOTO DUMP HAS ARRIVED! 📸🐾

Because apparently I’ve been too busy hanging out with everyone’s dogs to remember to post all these adorable faces! 😂 Soooo… here comes a BIG ol’ pile of Lucky Paws cuteness from the past week! 🐶💕

We’ve had walkies, zoomies, sniffy adventures, backyard shenanigans, belly rubs, brain games, snuffle mats, playtime, cuddles, and approximately 847 extremely important dog conversations. 😂🐾

Some were busy supervising…

Some were just here for the snacks. 👀
And a few were working very hard at being ridiculously adorable. 😍

Basically, it was another totally normal week at Lucky Paws, where the clients have four legs, fur, questionable listening skills, and absolutely NO concept of personal space. 😂❤️

🐾🎉 Happy One-Year Anniversary, Manny & Moose! 🎉🐾

One whole year with these two handsome boys! 🥰🐶🐶 I can hardly believe it’s already been a year since Manny and Moose became part of the Lucky Paws family!

These two have brought so many happy moments, goofy faces, wagging tails, and fun adventures along the way. 💙 Whether we’re out enjoying some fresh air, taking our time sniffing all the good smells, or just spending time together, Manny and Moose always make my visits extra special.

I’ve loved getting to know both of their personalities over this past year and watching them become such an important part of my weekly routine. They are such sweet, fun boys, and I’m so lucky to get to spend time with them! 🐾❤️

Here’s to one year of walks, adventures, cuddles, laughs, and lots of happy memories! 🥳

I’m excited to introduce a new Lucky Paws Enrichment Adventure of the Month! 🎉🐶

Throughout the upcoming year, our Lucky Paws pups will get to enjoy a different fun enrichment activity each month — designed to get those noses sniffing, brains thinking, paws exploring, and tails wagging! 💜

We’ll have things like:

👃 Sniffari Adventures
🫧 Bubble Bonanza
🎨 Doggy Art
🎃 Pumpkin Hunts
💦 Splash & Sensory Days
🍂 Fall Treasure Hunts
🎁 Holiday Adventures
…and plenty of surprises along the way!

Each month, I’ll introduce the featured activity, and any Lucky Paws client who has a visit that month may get to join in on the fun! 🐾

And because I love celebrating my amazing four-legged clients, every regular Lucky Paws client will receive a special Enrichment Adventure Certificate at the end of the year for being part of all the fun! 🏆🐶

No competition. No pressure. No keeping track of points or stamps. 😂 Just fun experiences, happy dogs, great photos, and a little extra enrichment sprinkled into their visits.

🎉 BIG NEWS FROM LUCKY PAWS! 🐾💜💛

I’m so excited to officially share that I am now a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP)! 🎓🐶🐱

After completing the requirements and successfully earning my certification through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC), I’m proud to add CPACP to my professional credentials!

But what exactly does CPACP mean?

CPACP stands for Certified Professional Animal Care Provider. It is an independent professional certification for people who work directly with animals in the pet-care industry. The certification is designed to demonstrate a strong, comprehensive knowledge of animal care, safety, health, behavior, handling, emergency preparedness, first aid and CPR, medications, documentation, extreme weather, and overall animal well-being.

The certification process involves meeting experience requirements and successfully completing an in-depth 125-question examination covering a broad range of professional animal-care topics.

For me, this certification is another way of showing my Lucky Paws families that I take the care, safety and well-being of their pets seriously. ❤️

I’ve been caring for animals professionally for many years, and I’m always looking for ways to continue learning and improving the care I provide. Becoming CPACP is a really special milestone for me and for Lucky Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting. 🐾
