Koda 🐾

Koda is a handsome, active pup who loves spending time outdoors and keeping an eye on everything happening around him. During our first visit together, he enjoyed plenty of yard time, exploring his surroundings, and showing off his playful, energetic side.

Like many dogs meeting someone new, Koda is still getting to know me, but he did a great job during our time together and showed lots of curiosity and interest in what we were doing. With his alert ears, expressive face, and athletic build, he’s hard not to notice—and even harder not to like!

I’m looking forward to continuing to build trust, learn more about his personality, and share many more adventures together. ❤️🐾

Daisy & Tucker 🐾

Don’t let their size fool you—Daisy and Tucker have big personalities packed into small bodies! Daisy, the adorable little French Bulldog, is full of playful energy, toy obsession, and those irresistible big-eyed expressions that can melt anyone’s heart. Tucker, her Chihuahua brother, is confident, curious, and always ready to supervise the fun.

These two make a great team, whether they’re playing together, carrying toys around the house, or keeping a close eye on everything happening during their visits. Tucker is often the watchful little manager, while Daisy is busy bringing the laughs with her goofy antics and enthusiastic approach to life.

Spending time with this pair is always a highlight. They’re sweet, entertaining, and proof that some of the biggest personalities come in the smallest packages. ❤️🐾

🐾 This Week’s Enrichment Activity: SNIFFARI! 🐾

Did you know that sniffing is one of the most powerful forms of enrichment for dogs?

This week, several of my Lucky Paws friends put their noses to work during our Sniffari challenge! I hid 20 broken pieces of treats around the yard and let the dogs use their natural scenting abilities to track them down.

🏆 Winston found 18 out of 20 treats!
🏆 Riley found 18 out of 20 treats!
🏆 Stanley found 15 out of 20 treats!

Every dog approached the challenge differently, but they all had a blast using their noses to solve the puzzle.

✨ Benefits of a Sniffari:
🐾 Provides mental stimulation and problem-solving opportunities
🐾 Builds confidence and independence
🐾 Encourages natural foraging behaviors
🐾 Helps reduce stress and anxiety
🐾 Tires dogs out mentally (often more than a walk alone!)
🐾 Gives dogs a chance to explore the world through their strongest sense

A dog’s nose is their superpower, and activities like this allow them to use it in a fun, rewarding way. Watching each dog’s unique strategy unfold is always one of my favorite parts of the day!

Gracie & Willie 🐾💚

These two adorable kitties are alwayskeeping things calm, cozy, and extra cute during their Lucky Paws visits! While they are still very shy toward me, they’ve been quietly supervising from a safe distance and making sure I’m doing my job properly. 😹
