One of my favorite things about this job is that I get to see animals come out of their shell: showing me how they want to play, how they want to be loved on, and what it looks like for them to be at peace.

This little orange boy is a prime example of this. Hesitant and shy at first, but looking for love once he feels safe asking for it 🧡
