Do you have a dog? Are you coming to the Bozrah Farmer's Market? This Friday, August 7th is Dog Days of Summer!
(4pm-7pm)

Montville Animal Welfare Initiative Inc. will be there selling toys, treats and grooming tools. All money collected will be used for the K9 Barrett Memorial Animal Control Facility and its partner towns for pet food and other items needed in the animal shelter.

What else is happening? There will be a veterinary technician at the Montville Animal Welfare Initiative Inc. booth doing nail trims and microchipping from 5pm-7pm.

What do you need to have your dog microchipped or have its nails trimmed? Proof of rabies vaccination!

All the money collected from the microchips and nail trims will be used for medical care for the shelter animals at the K9 Barrett Memorial Animal Control Facility.

I love to give my dogs a cold treat on a hot day. Instead of buying dog ice cream cups you can make your own. A simple recipe is Greek yogurt, make sure there us no artificial sweetener, peanut butter and blueberries. Then pop them in the freezer.
