We are considering offering a 1-week Vaulting & Horsemanship day camp at Starlight Horse Farm in July 2024. We did not offer it in 2023.
Possible weeks are:
July 8 - 12 or
July 15 - 19.
Before launching into the planning stage we are wondering if there is any interest (ages 6-16). Please respond in comments or PM. Thank you! Vault on!!

The Blue Hill Fair organizers are in error again this year. Aurora Vaulters was not contacted to do a presentation today. We were asked to step aside 4 years ago and let other presenters have that show ring and time. They did not contact us, yet again, to confirm our participation. Our apologies to anyone who showed up this afternoon to see us. Enjoy the Fair!!

RIP beautiful kind Rosie, mare extraordinaire, Queen of Hearts and lead mare of the farm, who gave her heart and love to so many children and adults during her 18 years. Rosie came to us 7 years ago and quickly became an enthusiastic member of Aurora Vaulters. With Cynthia coaching, Deb lunging and Rosie carrying everyone with great care we became a wonderful team, providing a path for so many vaulters, young as well as older, to gain a confidence and connection they had never experienced before. She opened her heart to everyone and was a gentle giant . Rosie went with us to do demos at the Common Ground Fair & the Blue Hill Fair, traveled all over Maine to do clinics and demos, she gave recreational vaulters a place to grow, and she carried vaulters in competitions. She was the mainstay of out vaulting summer camps. Rosie was a vital Aurora Vaulters Ambassador, doing her part with grace and enthusiasm, spreading the sport of vaulting throughout the State of Maine. She was always a favorite at our Open Barn days, sometimes giving ‘pony’ rides with our other horses. She loved being in the local Christmas Parade; she loved to get off the farm to meet other people and see other sights; she was very curious and quite social. Touching the lives of vaulters, parents, volunteers, friends, family, our surrounding community, she changed them in ways we’ll never know. She changed Deb Andrews life through the bond they developed as lounger and horse. Rosie taught Deb with love, grace, and forgiveness. Always eager to learn Rosie and Deb started to learn dressage and went to a few shows, doing their best and having fun.

Rosie, thank you for giving your heart and soul without reserve.

These ponies are chomping at the bit to get to the TACK SALE tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 - 2 at M & N Ranch, Upper Dedham Road, Dedham, Maine. Along with the ponies we will bring a Cobb bridle, a Draft bridle, halters, lead ropes, grooming tools, shipping boots, Cloud boots, a few inexpensive Western saddles, tack rack and more!!!
